Review Thanks Vaporents I’ve made it NSFW

First off, I have to say that I’m extremely clumsy. I might have some kind of motor-skill issue or ADHD. This is the reason why:

1) my bong is made of silicone;
2) I use a car phone mount to hold my Arizer Solo 2 (the bong couldn’t hold it steady during the first few days, and it tipped over, breaking the XL stem for the bong 😞); and
3) I just couldn’t get the hang of my first vaporizer, the DynaVap M7 XL—using a torch lighter in my 3-square-meter "herb den" was a recipe for disaster! Anyway, after the DynaVap, I bought a Rogue 2; it’s excellent when used with dosing capsules and offers great portability. However, after two 5-minute sessions, the device gets really hot, and sometimes it starts to taste like popcorn. But man, when you guys mentioned the Arizer Solo paired with a bong as an excellent option—you weren’t kidding! 10/10, I’m super happy with my setup. Thanks for the tips—great sub!

I understand that Pax isn't considered great, but is there a better portable and discrete brand? NSFW

I have a nice desktop vape already. I just want something portable that actually hits well. I keep seeing wildly conflicting opinions on if the Pax Four or Flow are decent, great, garbage, etc.

Can anyone help me out here? I'm not going for vapor quality above all else. I'm going for "Able to get blazed discretely in public easily". Trying to switch off of oil vapes to just dry herb.

My only experience with the pax, and really portable dry herb vapes in general, was probably 10 years ago or more at this point. The ones back then did not give good hits. Felt very tight, and just never really gave you a satisfying lungful imo. I'm just worried that's still the case.

I looked at the Arizer Solo series, but those are just not discrete enough. It's not that the size is that terrible it's more that the stem on them is super conspicuous.

Gear Shot Dynavap + TRWW update! I feel like I’ve mastered it 💨🍃 NSFW

Now that I’ve had my little purple halo device for about a week or so, I’ve got some thoughts!

Overall, this is my go-to device if I wanna rip huge clouds but still have a lovely bit of flavor. It’s not a flavor explosion like the Woodwynd or my solo 3, but it’s darn close! That halo tip and the extremely open airflow of the stem/mouthpiece/cooling unit is genuinely a life changer. Full extraction in 1-3 cycles, going to the second click with my triple flame honest torch. Soooo much vapor, and absolutely no heat transfer into the glass stem. Maybe a bit at the tip, but that halo is incredible at diffusing it.

Anyway, highly recommend this setup! If you didn’t see my last post, it’s a halo tip + twyllium cap armor from dynavap paired with a lavender titanium mouthpiece/cooling unit (no condenser) and a glass stem from TRWW. All titanium/glass with the exception of the mouthpiece.

Help How to get bigger hits? NSFW

Post image
9 Upvotes

I got the Arizer Solo 3 v2 a couple months ago and I love the it overall but I’m starting to feel like I don’t get very big hits and need to hit it a lot more often. When I purchased the device I also got a rocket stem. I’ve been considering getting a bubbler to use with it but my concern is that will raise my tolerance a ton just like vape pen carts did and I’ll go through herb a lot faster.

Do you all have any trips for getting some good hits out of this bad boy? I will be cleaning it again soon too with some alcohol.

Beginner Flower vs Concentrate NSFW

TLDR: Dumbass vape pen user with chronic pain, high tolerance, and sore throat/lungs, is there a better option?

Please help me out, I’ve been googling and I just feel so dumb because there are so many terms I’ve never heard. And if you have mercy on me and comment on this post, PLEASE pretend you’re talking to a 5 year old.

I have fibromyalgia and am in pain a lot. I have been using vape pens. I love it because I can just take a couple puffs and it dulls the pain. I might do a few puffs every hour on the weekend, and increase at night for sleep.

Unfortunately my tolerance has been increasing, to the point now where I’m really hurting my lungs and throat, and it’s difficult to get high or even just reach a level of pain relief. It’s also getting colder and darker earlier, so I don’t always want to sit outside for so long.

I do use edibles but not during the day, and they’re just not as good for pain. It sucks waiting an hour and then realizing I didn’t consume enough for pain relief, and having to wait another hour. In contrast, using a vape pen when I feel a migraine coming on can prevent the migraine.

Is there a better option for quick pain relief?
- Are dry-herb vapes better for your lungs than vape pens?

- Are there any dry-herb vapes that let you draw “as needed” or do you have to vape it all at once?

- My fav strain for pain was discontinued but it’s still available as concentrate. How does concentrate work?? In theory it sounds like it could be better for my lungs if it’s concentrated and I can do less puffs? Is it better/worse for lungs than dry herb vapes or vape pens?

Side note: if there’s a better subreddit to ask about concentrate, please let me know! I just don’t even know what terms to look for.

Thank you!!

Help Venty Help - 2 questions NSFW

Hey Guys,

Im a big fan of the session style vaping of the Venty and the auto-shut off is a great feature for me. Ill often times forget to take a hit and glad that my weed wasnt completely torched while I was distracted.

Yesterday, I truly thought I was losing my mind because it kept shutting off and I was thinking it was me getting distracted. I was like "damn, I gotta stop smoking weed, I can even remember to take a a hit once every two minutes"

fortunately/unfortunately, turns out I wasnt losing my mind but rather the auto shut off feature wasnt recognizing me taking hits to reset the auto shut off timer. Glad im not losing my mind, bummed the device doesnt seem to be working.

I keep the cooling unit very clean, I use 99% iso. I hit 3 bowls a day or so, there's 128 hours of operation and the device is 11 months old.

I made sure the Oring around the heating unit is secured. Reached out to Venty with no word back.

  1. has anyone experienced this? Any ideas on a solution?
  2. How do i update the firmware?! im on the mobile app, I see no way to update the firmware. there is a "analysis "start" button.

Help Using the Vane 2 for the first time NSFW

Hi, guys! We currently use 1.5-2 carts/week and reeeally appreciate the ease of use, quick effects, minimal smell, etc. Unfortunately, we are moving quite far (1 hr+) from any dispensaries this weekend, so it will no longer be convenient to maintain such a habit! We are in Oregon so we decided to try our hand at growing and using dry herb vaporizers. I picked up the Vane 2 today and a half oz. Didn't have a grinder so I chopped it up with beauty scissors, didnt overpack it and held the button for 2 seconds. It preheated, said 'use' and I inhaled without pushing the button. Nothing comes out. (With the button held down obviously shuts the session down so I know that's not the answer.) I tried inhaling for as long as I possibly could and a tiiiny bit comes out. I know it's vapor, not smoke, but I watched some dude on YT rip it and blow clouds. I am, admittedly, a small woman but I'm not new to smoking and vaping. Sooo... Is it me or the device?

Beginner Beginner recommendation NSFW

First let me say I've read the New Vapers Guide and the Things to consider before asking... Still, since this is a very high financial commitment for me, Id love to discuss it further with y'all if possible.

I'm a beginner. I've been smoking for the past 10 to 15 years, but mostly started smoking on a more daily basis over the past year. Anyhow, I dont use a lot, my sensibility is very high, and I don't need much to get the high I need and enjoy.

I'd like to start DHV at home. Price range is limitless on theory, but since I've never used DHV before, I would start with something mid-end at best, preferably low-end.

I'd use it for myself mostly and that's the priority, but if possible I'd like to be able to invite 1 or 2 ppl.

Desktop seem too high-end for now. Both portable or butane seems fine.

From what I understood, on demand seems better, since they can also be adapter for sessions, so that's what I'd look for.

Frequency of use is probably the most important factor here - I don't see myself having to use it very often. One blunt lasts me up to two days, if I really want I can even stretch it for 2 days and a half. I work at home while I take care of my kid and do housing chores, so really Id use once early in the morning, and maybe once towards the end of the day, both "sessions" most likely would be microdoses, at least talking week days.

I'm from Brazil. I'll list some vaporizers I've already seen:

Dynavap The B2 - seems very practical, but apparently without a YLL 3.0 it isn't good?

CFC Lite Boundless - seems like the best option for me. I need to charge before using it. Can one full charge last enough so me +1 can get high?

Dynavap The M7 The B2 but better?

Starry 4.0. CFC Boundless but better? How better? Worth it?

Discussion One Hit Wonder V2 or Ruby Twist Pro - need help deciding. NSFW

As the title states, I am looking between those two. I'm reading a ton of positive feedback on the Ruby Twist Pro and not much for conversation on the One Hit Wonder V2. I imagine it has a lot to do with price, but sometimes even the cheaper item can be better more refined product than the more expensive "OG". Is that the case here? If money wasn't the issue; which of the two would you go for out of pure performance?

Thank you!

Flowerpot ball vape by cannabis hardware NSFW

About 2-2.5 years ago I went all out on vaporizers and bought the venty, volcano hybrid and flowerpot ball vape. I know I will take a lot of shit for saying this but I don't really like any of them. The volcano is my fav, but i still get higher off a bong rip or just ripping a straight pipe. I really do wanna start vaping more though bc my lungs (after 30 years are struggling). Am i doing something wrong with my flowerpot bc that thing is the worst 700$ I have ever spent. I have to rip 5 bowls off it to get high. Maybe diff size ruby balls, maybe I need a new ball vape???

UPDATE. I AM CONVINCED THE FLOWERPOT I BOUGHT IS DEFFECTIVE BC ON 420F I AM GETTING 0 VISIBLE VAPOR. Im gonna buy a new ball vape

Basket screen search NSFW

Anyone have a source for basket screens?

Looking for opening or aperture of .50 or 1/2” or 12.7mm. The length would be 32mm. Or 1.26” long.

Cyndical with one flat bottom and other end open! Think of it like a round garbage can for a dollhouse.

Stainless steel mesh. For context: trying to come up with a replacement for the Camouflet Fuji screen. They want $6 EACH or one! Not a pack of ten but a single screen $6!!

Thanks erybody!

Need a new vape after Solo 2 broke NSFW

Hey everyone, after 2/3 years of use my Airizer solo 2 has broken on me. It started giving me error codes but I was able recharge it and get it working again but it seems like this time its gone for good (error code 8)

So I was wondering what vapes you would recommend? I loved my solo 2 but was dissapointed in the reliability and it breaking out of warranty.. so I'm a little hesitant to get another Airizer product, although the 3 is meant to be improved.

Any suggestions appreciated, thanks!
