I’ve just moved back to Vancouver (25F) and would really love to join a casual sports team. I’m open to most sports but I am a pretty terrible skater haha. Hey there - so first of all the title is just to grab attention. But it's kind of True still ha. I just created this Reddit account with the sole intent of meeting and making some more friends.

I have been in Vancouver for three years now, but recently moved to Surrey (King George station area) due to work. I'm in my mid 30s male and Asian. Without getting too personal, for the past two years I've just been working on myself and learning to be alone. I’m coming to visit your fine city in October, coming from Kitchener, ON. I’m not looking for recommendations on things to do. I'm looking to see if someone wants to connect and join me on my adventures. I’m landing October 28th and staying with some friends who wont be able to take time off work every day. I will be free on the 28th after I land, the 29th, and may possibly have time to offer on the 31st or 1st depending how things go.

I’m primarily looking to do a hike and/or explore the island on the 29th and finding some nightlife (I don’t drink a lot, but don’t need that to have a great time). Friends and I will be going out on Halloween. I’m an avid hiker and have some experience navigating mountains, but not a ton. I’m physically fit and a full day hike is not out of the question. My friend and I are discussing doing (part of) the Panorama on the 30th.

My other interests include photography, kayaking, swimming (wreck beach in late October anyone?), shaking my ass to live music, and writing.

I’m a pretty lighthearted and fun soul. I always encourage my people to just do the damn thing! Hoping to connect a bit before I arrive so we know we’ll get along.

hello!! I recently moved back to Vancouver and I realized I have a bunch of things that I want to learn/try/ do that would be way more fun if I had people to do them with! As much as I love to do things solo, certain activities are just more fun with people.

I was thinking it could be fun to get a small group of people together where everyone contributes one thing they've been wanting to try, and we actually all go do them! For instance, one night might be someone's bouldering night, another person's salsa night, hike, random restaurant, whatever your heart desires!
