I don’t think it’s really on him, he has agent pool issues that he needs to fix. His NaVi stint he was FAILED. Early Furia was good then they dropped their entry duelist for some reason and then Koala wasn’t OPing for a while then C0M and Shyy appeared for some reason

hes had agent pool issues since 2023 he will never fix it or be at a level a competitive team needs him to be at. he was absolutely dogshit when he had to play entry agents this year, he didnt improve them since he was on navi

this is very extreme level delusion/ cope. he literally has C9 in his name. there's been zero rumors or info of him leaving, let alone going to another team. yet you think maybe he's in another team trialling players for them out of the blue.. while still having C9 tag?
and because it's obvious they're gone, or most of them are ? oxy and zellsis rumored gone, and v1c already wanted to stop playing for 2 or so years now..
wouldn't be surprised if fbo and jackk are gone too. both stopped streaming since a week and a half ago. c9 players are obligated to stream, they've both consistently streamed during their c9 tenure, until about a week or so ago. then didn't come back on since

No announcement of Immi leaving has been made, so of course he would need to retain the tag publicly until then. Why would Jackk and Fireball be gone? There's no reason to think any other org has interest in them and they're already signed through 2028. Even if budget is the concern, you can't convince me Fireball is commanding a higher salary than nerve, they're both borderline t1/2 players who haven't accomplished anything. There's no reason to cut a promising rookie you already have under contract.
And yeah, my comment was just baseless speculation, but so is OP. The only actual provable information is that these players are playing together, that's not evidence of any trials even going on. Nobody knows anything at this point, so forgive me for not just doomposting about the death of my team, I guess.

Idc who they sign, but how tf is Immi still with the team? For four years, he's done nothing besides brag about being one game away from making Champs, like that's the only event during a full season. It's pretty obvious they aren't getting partnered, so why not just bring in a coach willing to trust up-and-comers and not bums? The less i say about Immi and Zellsis the better. Also Johnny the manager needs to go if Immi or Zellsis are here next year.

c9 makes no sense. they were literally willing to offer any amount for m0nesy in cs a little while ago.. i think i remember hearing $2m+
then they end up selling off their entire team with the likes of heavygod, electronic, perfecto, shiro.. after not getting m0nesy
all of which they would have gotten a big pay for..
so they should have money, yet they are still just going budget/ not spending anywhere. not even in other esports

There is a good chance that they aren't getting a bag from Oxy. Obviously it is contract dependant, but if Oxy has a good manager then chances are failing to make partnership would give him an exit opportunity.
Even if they made a bag, why invest as a non-partnered team? Get some cheap players, and if it works then invest at that point. Expect few big teams from non-partnered orgs.

C9s business model is based on ROI for each esports division. They create their budgets for teams based on how much their division makes. It’s why they can invest so much in their LoL team and so little in their R6 team. It’s part of what makes them more sustainable as a business and why they’ve done so little downsizing compared to other large organizations in the space. Jack has spoken about this on multiple platforms.
So that being said, if they DO sell OXY the return on that would most likely go back into the VALORANT operations.

I agree koala was a top 5 player in kickoff and fell off a cliff afterward.
Xeppa is consistent + flexible he’s better than almost all t2 players and a lot of t1. Problem is flash initiator is a dead role and there’s better scan players. He could make internationals with a good meta + team

yeah idk who you saw making dumb takes or if this is a "one guy" situation but skuba has been someone that orgs have been trying to pick up since 2021 but he got jailed in Knights, and brawk has been a consistently top tier scan player.
