Thanks to my wife and this podcast, I can for the first time publicly declare my bisexuality. I am bisexual and for the first time in my 55 years can declare that with acceptance. I was never sure where I fitted in. I was to gay for being straight and was not gay enough to be gay. I was never accepted fully in either community. While I still have much to learn and explore, I am done with being ashamed, there is nothing wrong with me and what I like. I embrace that now.

We live outside of Tampa FL. We my husband and I would love to find a club or event that just focuses on man with man and woman with women but at the same club or event. Not sure what wristband color that would be lol but I’m in love with my husband but we like to have sex with same sex partners.

It’s wild that there is a podcast about my exact scenario. 💙

First, pic of the private barrel flight @ The Scotch Lodge in PDX. Amazing food, and killer whiskey collection.
Second, visiting our son in Vancouver, WA this weekend and we decided to get a hotel in Portland and check out a club while we were here.
There are two in Portland, Privata and Velvet Rope. Privata seemed a little bougie so we opted for tVR. After dinner we headed over, paid the 80$ per couple fee and got fhe tour
We weren’t sure what to expect for a sex club, but this wasn’t it. It came off more as a bar/night club that doubles as a sex club. There was some cool demonstrations of rope play, impact play and cupping but that was really it.
They didn’t seem to limit the amount of single males allowed in, so if I went to the bathroom or grabbed a beer any number of men were trying to creep up on L.
Anybody else have a miss on their first club experience?

As I continue on my own journey, I find myself leaning more into education. I’m tired of living in the shadows. Ashley had helped me embrace myself and feel seen. We have heard from so many of you as well.
So as I continue to learn… I found that September is Bi Visibility Month… I absolutely wanted to share that with all of you.
Also, out of curiosity… I’d love to hear what any of you do to celebrate! Any special moments, outings, gatherings?

I’m curious what the level of interest is for some monthly zoom calls. We have been thinking of having a call for the men, and a separate call for the women. We have been working on creating a Patreon and figured that’s the best way to piece this together.

Just discovered and binged the pod cast. And now I have to wait….? I guess I can wait through this bi-hiatus as it took me years to come to terms with my sexuality. My wife and I look forward to the new episodes and the dialogue that it opens up between us. I am grateful she found this pod cast and the lines of communications it has opened for us. Thank you.

This pod cast has literally changed my life. For years I have struggled to identify myself. My wife of 26 years sent me a link to the show and I listened to every episode while at work one day. My world opened up. I have never had anyone to talk to or discuss my sexuality with. My straight friends would not get it and my gay friends kept telling me I was kidding myself. My wife and I gave had very open conversations but I was never able to say out loud or even admit to myself that I was bisexual. This pod cast hit home on so many levels and made so many things align in my head. While my wife and I have had many open conversations, I was finally able to say out loud I am bisexual. My wife found this pod cast and came to terms with my sexual identity before I was able to. Please continue to speak your truth. It is helping people and is needed. I can not thank you both enough for putting your story out there.

I recently found your podcast. I have finished the 1st episode and just started the 2nd one. It is great as I just recently came out as Bi to my wife. She is supportive and now we're trying to figure out how to navigate this .
We've been in the LS for a few years, but never with me being Bi.
Looking forward to listening to all your episodes.
Oh, and I am also a huge Bourbon and Scotch fan!

We are SO excited to finally share this one with you guys.
This Wednesday, we’re releasing our first couples interview!
Keith and Elizabeth have been married for 39 years, but Keith has only been fully out to his wife as a bisexual man for the last five.
Their marriage has weathered loss, secrecy, discovery, and some incredibly difficult years but where their relationship is today might surprise you.
We talk with both of them about bisexuality, marriage, trust, the straight partner’s experience, and what they’ve learned along the way.
They were incredibly open and vulnerable with us, and we’re so grateful they trusted us with their story.
The episode drops Wednesday, August 19th.
And after you listen, please come back here and talk to us about it. We have a feeling this one is going to spark some conversations. 🫶

Listening to the podcast for the first time along with my wife. On ep 2, but I don’t have regular toasted barrel, so I had to listen along with 9yr Toasted barrel strength.

Hey guys - just "found" your podcast and love it thank you! Just listened to the BFF interview. Some friends said there's another similar type event called HOE weekend. Calendar/date wise for us to travel to CA the HOE event may be better timing for us. Has anyone done both and can give me a comparison? BFF sounds like our kind of event but I don't know much about the other one.

First off, Stagg pick from a local restaurant/whiskey bar here in SEA.
Secondly, am finally able to comfortably say I’m a happy bi-male, married to an amazingly supportive wife.
So hi from the PNW.

We're C(F) and J(M) from Australia and we recently discovered your podcast. We have loved listening to you both and your really honest take on life in the bi swinging community. Thanks so much for putting yourselves out there and doing your bit to normalise bi couples. We binged all your episodes, so we're stoked to hear your starting up again!
After 10+ years of marriage and 5 years on autopilot with small children, earlier this year we had a bit of a honest heart to heart and in that discovered we were both bi and wanted to explore everything ENM together! We both had kind of internally accepted that us/life/kids/work came first, and we had each suppressed that side of us.
I'm not sure how often stuff like this happens?! Safe to say we consider ourselves extremely fortunate, and we can't quite believe how our relationship has already transformed for the better.
Were lucky that in Australia sex work is legal, so all those first experiences could play out in safe spaces with professionals. It's also great that our local club scene has catered for bi couples for a long time with Bi the Bi's Bradford and Angela's Pendulum nights at OSS.
It's so funny that we've already seen so many similarities to the things you've discussed. We debated hiding the male bi status on our online profiles, but ultimately decided that the whole point of this next phase is being true to ourselves and what we both want. In doing that, we've already seen that experimental/bi men exist behind straight profiles! Similar to Ashley, C is turned on by watching and participating in full bi group play, including all the MM aspects! We laughed out loud at your opening line on episode 1 about how amazing it is to share a dick with your husband 😂
We're super grateful to have found your podcast, and very excited for your new content, thanks so much again!

What’s one little thing your partner does that always makes you feel loved and secure?
I think that Sometimes it’s the smallest gestures that mean the most.
For me, it’s that Rob has genuinely never stopped telling me I’m beautiful. Almost every single day he’ll compliment me or find a way to engage with me. He notices the little things my earrings, a new lipstick, a different perfume, even when I style my hair differently. It makes me feel so seen.
Ironically, there are days when I feel like I look like absolute crap, and he’ll still tell me I’m beautiful. Sometimes I even roll my eyes. 😂 But the thing is that I can tell he actually means it. He’s not saying it out of habit. He sees something beautiful even when I don’t.
In the swinging lifestyle, where there can be so many opportunities for comparison or insecurity, that consistent reassurance has become one of the biggest reasons I feel SO secure in our relationship. It’s never about convincing me I’m attractive. It’s about reminding me that I’m his person, and that he still notices me.
Ok Your turn! What’s one little thing your partner does that always makes you feel loved? ❤️
