Hi everyone hope you're having a good start to your week
I will be performing in the UK premiere theatrical production of Kate Hamill's Dracula across the last 3 days of October and thought you might be interested in checking it out.
It is the debut production of a new theatre company in the northwest of the UK that specialise in challenging, thoughtful theatre that utilise the Horror genre. This retelling of Dracula is told through a feminist lens whilst still remaining faithfull to Bram Stokers original text.
It features a large ensemble cast of all the characters from the novel as well as original never before heard compositions that underpin the atmospheric dread felt throughout the play.
We also have been fortunate enough to be taught some elaborate fight choreography by industry proffesionals who have recently worked on projects like The Odyssey.
Each and everyone of us have been working tirelessly for months to bring you the best possible version of this equally terrifying, funny and thoughtful play so would be great to see some of you there as it's set to be a fantastic show!
TL;DR: Scary,, funny and thoughtfuly crafted play being shown in the Northwest with PLENTY of epic action ⚔️

I work at Askable, and we're currently recruiting for a study with people running food businesses that use delivery platforms. Disclosing that up front: this is paid research, not a sales call, and nobody will pitch you anything at the end.
Who we're looking for
What's involved
If you're not sure whether you qualify, apply anyway. There's a short screener that takes a couple of minutes and it'll tell you either way.

Happy to answer any questions related to this study! Just ask in the comments. Thank you!

For any theatre and/or horror fans who are in or near Sheffield, this world premiere of an original adaptation taking place this month might pique your interest:
The Company presents The Turning at Bly Manor
University Drama Studio, S10 2TD
Wednesday, 30th Sept 2026 - Saturday, 3rd Oct 2026
Doors open at 7pm, show starts at 7:30pm

Based on the ghost stories of Henry James, including his novella The Turn of the Screw
Inspired by the Netflix miniseries, The Haunting of Bly Manor, created by Mike Flanagan
Welcome to Bly Manor: the beautiful estate of a dead billionaire and the mysterious home of a timeless secret. In 1899, a young governess is plunged into a world where apparitions abound. In the present day, five people accept an invitation and vanish without a trace. As the past and present intertwine, the carpet of reality unbinds with paranormal consequences.

There is ramped access (width: 120cm) to this entrance equipped with handrails where audience members will find a bell/buzzer (height: 120cm) and an intercom (height: 88cm). There is not a canopy or recess which provides weather protection at this entrance. Once inside the theatre, there are designated spaces for wheelchair users in the front row of the auditorium. The nearest accessible toilet is located 12m from the designated seating area.
