im running my uni2 on whisky and idk why everythign else works fine but whenever i enter a match it wont show some weapons and theres no effects at ALL.... can anyone help me please

I've been getting into fighting games recently and been thinking of picking up Sys:Celes around Christmas time and I just wanna know how active the online is. Could I find matches fairly consistently online that'd match my skill level or am I gonna have to go on Discord to find players?
