What are some good housing options for next year? I’m planning on living in a studio or a 1bd/1bath, not necessarily close to campus but that’d be nice, I’m currently paying around 1.3k for a studio but the building I’m in isn’t the best honestly and it’s a little run down..

Hi! I'm struggling to find more info about the cob process for sororities here. I submitted my COB interest form through panhellenic in mid-September and some of my friends put recommendations in for me at their chapters, but I haven't heard anything back yet. Is this normal? When can I expect a response? Are there any other steps I should take?

I am a trans girl and I really want to get fitter. Nick seems quite accessible, but I am a bit worried about locker rooms: I don't want to get uncomfortable or make anyone else feel weird either. Are there any lockers outside of the gendered locker rooms, just to drop your stuff off? There are single-stall bathrooms there and I don't mind changing there, but it would still be hard to do without a locker nearby...

Hello! My current top college choice is UW-Madison and I've already applied for the fall 2027 semester. However, my two best friends plan to attend Madison Area Technical College and want me to room with them in an apartment. I really want to join them because, well, they're my best friends, but all of the places right near UW campus are either super expensive or have an income requirement that we just don't meet.

To those who've participated in the school's park-and-ride system: is it good? As a college freshman, would it be a good experience for me to commute via car to their lot and then take a shuttle the rest of the way? So far this seems like the most realistic option for my situation but I'm just a little worried. Thanks!

Hi so just this semester started living in campus village and me and my roommates want to foster a cat. only thing is CV does not allow that. does anyone know like a way around this or like what I could do. because we all really want one but just wanted to reach out here for some help.

Most fostering places on the applications ask for where you live so they can call them and check the policies.

I was thinking I have friends at both chapter and the lucky and both places allow pets, lucky is 50/month/cat and chapter is like much more expensive so we most likely will try lucky. but if anyone has tried this or knows someone who has done it any help would be appreciated.

I did horribly on my midterm and I have chanwoo as a instructor. Knowing this, what is the best case scenario at a A if the scale is like 93% for a A and that is way too hard to achieve at this stage?

legit what the hell is up with the stats 371 curriculum??? it’s pretending it’s a 5 credit class i swear, this class is actually harder than chem 109. the homework takes like 4 hours minimum to do, AND all the questions aren’t even graded. they take like one sub-question from each problem and grades JUST that one. you could do the entire homework correctly and get the 3 graded ones wrong and get a 0% it’s legit more worth it to just not do the fucking homework. there’s so many problems and there’s problems within problems within problems, AND not graded properly. genuinely this has to be some kind of violation of grading because the way they grade it does NOT reflect my understanding of the material. one question out of 27 wrong could have an impact of 25% of the homework grade. this is actual fucking bullshit, i hate you professor bloss
