Looking to pair a 13.9” or 14.5” URG-I with a (non-mini) RC2. For folks who’ve run this combination, how did you find the gassiness? What upgrades (springs, buffers, charging handles, etc.) do you use, and (ballpark) how many-ish shots does it tend to take you to gas out with them, if you know? Would slightly prefer not to tinker with gas blocks or tubes, but open to information there too.
*Ideally,* I’d like to (roughly) cut gassiness to the point where the extra gas from the suppressor is fairly counterbalanced, without fully stripping away the natively “combat-gassed” quality of the base rifle (ie still got that extra reliability from *slight overgassing*).
Based on my research, I was thinking maybe a Geissele Super 42 spring and H2 buffer, with a Radian Raptor SD or Geissele Airborne CH?
Edit: Obviously professional SOF types have run URGIs full auto all the time. What do they run, in terms of buffers and charging handles? (I know the base lower for a service URGI is a basic colt lower, but what do they add to that, if anything?)
