Does Lamaku have an automatic lockdown browser???
Saw the honor lock thing and confused as to how it works? Some of my professors are saying that if any other browsers are open in Lamaku my Lamaku will be closed during the test??? Just want to know what’s up before my midterms.

Test center proctor here at a different UH system campus. Honorlock is integrated within Lamaku itself. Download the Chrome extension/plug in so to set up your individual computer so exams can launch properly.
Your instructor will configure the various parameters of your test (book, open notes, scratch paper, calculator, additional browser windows) … basically the what is/is not allowed part of the test. If you violate any of those parameters set by your instructor, it will trigger Honorlock’s AI to flag your exam for instructor review.
Questions/concerns or need to know more about what is/is not allowed for your exam? Contact your instructor directly for further guidance.

I guess I’m still confused. If it’s integrated in Lamaku do you have to download anything??? Or is this something which has always been there and I’m just gaining awareness of it?

You have to have Google Chrome and download the Honorlock extension. It's a whole lot of BS

No. Honorlock is also a newer tool for UHM as well.
These functions need to be turned on, but is not a default.

So the lockdown only works on safari or if your browser default user is the UH email.

your professor is able to change the settings in honor lock and allow you to either access or not access certain things like lamaku and the content in it aswell as opening up internet links. it all depends on how they set it up for the test specifically.
