Hi everyone, I am very sorry to say this here, but rather just venting at night, I also wanna seek for some advice. I’ve been studying for the whole past week, and I check the answer key today and I approximately get a 40%-50% (Well, if lucky I will get above 50). I don’t know how to recover from this. I did all the practice, come to class regularly and take notes, review it once a week. Two practice midterms I both score above 80s/90s and finish in time. I also had an exam from another class which I finish the practice test with 95 and 100, but turns out I only got 58%. Since first year, every single class I study it’s been like this. I originally thought there’s something wrong with my methods, but I tried a multiple time it just doesn’t work. I don’t know how to get good grades on exam anymore. I’ve been crying since midterm finish and don’t know how to become good at test anymore, maybe never. Any advice is appreciated, thank you very much.

Why is most crime on the endowment lands committed at the aquatic center? It's the only place I see the police with their lights on.

Somebody please put me the method to studying for the physics 131 midterm tahts coming up soon, are there any resources to get access to the previous midterms? Does anybody have the previous midterms? Please bro
you were wearing this cute red plaid coat and headphones on the 99, and we kept sharing glances with each other. looking at me when i wasnt looking at you. when you turned away towards the exit i saw you looking at me through the mirror!! i wanted to say hi or give you a compliment, but my friends were getting off at the next stop so i couldnt get off at the same time as you... if you remember me i think you were really cute and i'm sad that i didnt say anything in time :c maybe we can run into each other again, and next time i'd do things right

what the fuck 😭😭😭😭😂😂😂😂😂 been studying for hours every day for the past two weeks. put all my courses on the back burner for this. felt so confident with those mickey mouse practice midterms, finished each of them in under 40 mins and scored 90+ on both.
currently spiraling that was one of the hardest exams i’ve ever written and holy fuck was it bad. even the group portion…. my group got a lot of stuff wrong
shit is worth 20% is there any hope

Not gonna lie, the problem sets did not reflect some of the questions on the midterm. Poor exam.

Bro, this is so annoying. Where are the UBC photography posts? None of those are up anymore. No one’s posting those anymore. All I see is this like dating stuff over and over and over and over again. It’s getting a bit annoying. If you need someone to date at this point, man, they should just start a club called UBC Dating Club or something. But the whole point is asking or making these stories on Reddit is not going to lead to you finding your love. The only way you’re going to find it is I don’t know because I don’t have any love in my life either, but it’s definitely not on UBC Reddit, and that is clear.

What are the logistics of extending hours of a library/multiple libraries to be 24hrs?
I think many other Canadian universities have this and I don't know why we don't, so I feel like I must be missing something
I know ikb is open for a very long time but it's not ALL the time and many students would like to continue working later
Also, I know you can technically be in faculty buildings as long as you want but an open library would be a much better option

I am suffering from a bad flare up of Achilles tendonitis and I am having extreme difficulty walking. Given the gargantuan Godzilla's ass sized campus we are on, this has made it impossible to both recover properly and get to class without mobility aids. I cannot afford the absurd price for a brand new wheelchair, so I was hoping someone could please lend me one (it'd be like a month to recover at most)

We are students in an Introduction to Human-Computer Interaction Methods course, and we are researching students' experiences learning graph traversal in CPSC 110/107.
This study seeks to better understand (1) students' struggles in learning graph traversals, (2) identify support that helps students develop understanding and confidence in graph traversal concepts, and (3) current procedures students follow when working through graph traversals.
We are seeking participants to complete a short survey (~15 minutes) regarding this topic.
If you are 19 years of age or older (or a UBC student who is 17 years or older) and have completed CPSC 110 or CPSC 107 in 2025 or 2026, you are eligible to participate!
Your participation in this study is voluntary and confidential. The study is completely anonymous. You may decide not to take part, or you may leave the study at any time.
If you would like to participate in the study, please navigate to the survey on Qualtrics using the following link or scan the QR code:

Hi everyone,
I’m looking into After-Degree / Accelerated Nursing programs in BC and Alberta (specifically eyeing UBC, U of A, U of C, and BCIT).
I’m finishing my degree through Trinity Western University in a non-science major, Biblical Studies.
For anyone who applied to Canadian after-degree nursing programs with a non-science or religious studies degree:
Did admissions evaluate your degree as long as it came from an accredited/chartered university?
