I quit my job last April to take a career break. To this day, I still haven't found what I'm looking for (a new job). What a bad timing to quit.

I guess I'll aim for Leg 4 in 2028 onwards :(

Macphisto? Cool!

I was wondering if he would be back after skipping the sphere, seemed like a no brainer having him there.

I doubt it'll be a new single, probably a tour anouncement.

Here's the Instagram link, with an audio snippet of possibly the new single Greatest Show on Earth. Sounds cinematic, indeed, like EconomyHuman6167 wrote.

Actually, I'll slightly alter my impression and say it also harkens back to the opening of Ultra Violet on the album, if removing the bass notes. Eno had a hand on this new track right?

Gives me Unforgettable Fire vibes. Kind of reminds me of Disappearing Act.

Greatest Show On Earth?

That's my hunch. But I think the date is for the tour announcement. It's up for debate but I think we might see Greatest Show get released this week too.

Apple Music is showing a release date of the 15th

3

u/jakerperiod 1d ago

That all but confirms it I suppose!

Where are you seeing that? I don’t see any release date, though maybe that’s because I’m looking at it on my phone and not my computer.

I don't have apple music but I've seen some screenshots on U2start that initially had the 16th listed.

Holy Fuck.. that sounds cinematic. That's been missing from their sound for a long while

On the Instagram story U2 shared.

Macphisto - you are in our midst. Now more than ever. And those background sounds on the clip sound amazing.

There is also a little audio too to go with it. Sounds like one of the 80s bass synths (think Stranger Things theme tune) with some ooooooos over the top.

South America/Mexico first announced dates.

Don't know why you are being downvoted? Yep, rumour has it...that's where the tour will start.
