Question FYP Algorithm broken?

A few minutes ago I went on and my fyp was full of random sports tweets which I have never engaged with, american news outlets like CNN and stuff (I'm brazilian and don't interact with american news basically ever), random tweets in arabic, and a bunch of other stuff that has nothing to do with any of my interests in the slightest. My fyp has never been like this. I saw a couple reporrs of this looking up "fyp" on twitter itself but I was still wondering if a lot of other people are having this issue or just a fraction of users

It happened to me last month when I wasn't logged in on any other device and the algorithm seemed to reset completely. Maybe it's some weird technical glitch instead of a permanent shift.

You’re not the only one reporting a sudden change, but a few reports aren’t enough to tell how widespread it is. If your Following tab still looks normal, I’d use that for now and give For You a little time before changing your interests over a feed shift that started minutes ago.

In the end I went to sleep after posting this and when I woke up it was completely back to normal. Probably something messed up on their end for some users but I guess they fixed it

My fyp is the same as my following. My fyp is showing only pages I follow, some of which are news outlets like CNN and it just fills up my fyp. I like random tweets popping up on my feed, this is just how I engage with twitter. It's been like this for a few days and is so frustrating.

Same thing happening to me, either that or just showing me tweets only from accounts I follow
