As the new week began, my alliance merged with another, and new warriors joined our banner.

Among them was a familiar face — they call him Spotted.

In the past he came riding toward my lands with his horses, And paid the price.

Awkward? Perhaps.

But war has a funny way of turning enemies into allies.

Before long, we became friends. And the man whose horses had once brought trouble to my gates now offered to defend me.

A few days pass and then.

A warrior named Ackeles, dared to test the strength of my kingdom.

He began sending small attacks toward my lands, one after another.
his warriors came, hoping to find weakness behind my walls.

One evening he sent a bigger army.

This time, the losses were no longer something to shrug off. More than two hundred of Lovsyu’s troops fell beneath his attack.

Lovsyu — a warrior who had once brought my hero back from the dead — had now paid a heavy price fighting at my side.

And just like that, the situation changed

He had crossed a line.

That was when I decided his little game had gone on long enough.

I gathered my army and turned my gaze toward his lands. My catapults were ready, and his precious crop fields were marked for destruction.

His warriors would soon have an enemy far more dangerous than mine.

Hunger.

He stopped lurking around my lands after that.

Meanwhile

I had my eyes on someone living a little too close for my comfort.

Perhaps it was nothing, but I had learned not to ignore what felt out of place.

Rather than wait for trouble to find me, I decided to make the first move and see what he was hiding behind his walls.

At night, i struck.

By morning, half his village lay in ruins. A message delivered in stone and fire.

But the man was not alone, and his alliance made sure of that.

By the next day, his village was filled with defenders, turning what had been an easy target into a much harder prize.

Fair enough.

A man with allies is a man worth giving respect.

I had lost many men, but my efforts had earned me a place at the top of the ranks.

The gods had taken note, and my name stood among the most fearless warriors in this world.

But I also earned the attention of an entire alliance.

Perhaps it wasn’t the victory I had planned.

But the war was far from over.

Sometimes, knowing when to move on is just as important as knowing when to strike.

His main village was full of men ready to defend it. So I turned my attention elsewhere.

I turned my forces toward his other village.

With No army waiting to meet me. Just an empty village sitting there, waiting for the storm to arrive.

And I made sure the storm left its mark.

His fields lay in ruins, and several buildings had been reduced to rubble. Whatever plans he had for that village, rebuilding had just become part of them.

Tensions were rising on all sides.

I had a feeling things will escalate even further in the coming days.

And with new allies at my back, and more than a few names worth remembering, the next chapter was already waiting.

Hi everyone,

I want to bring up something that keeps happening and feels really unfair.

I was attacked by a player. I lost my entire defense. That’s around 385k resources in losses, and he also took 24k in bounty.

Six hours later his villages were already gone. The report now just shows [?] instead of his name and village.

So I lost a big part of my army and resources, and the attacker lost nothing because he was already leaving the game. His 481k in losses don’t matter to him. I can’t retaliate, I can’t get anything back, and he took no risk at all.

These “farewell attacks” are free damage. They hurt active players and alliances and add nothing to the game.

Some ideas that could help:

• Block outgoing attacks from accounts that have deletion pending.
• Add a minimum delay (for example 72h) between the last attack sent and account deletion, so the attacker stays exposed.
• If an account is deleted shortly after an attack, return the stolen resources to the victim.

Has anyone else run into this? I’d like to hear what the team thinks.

Every kingdom begins with a single village.

Mine had one purpose: build a second village, then make the world remember my name.

For three days, I hunted the beasts of the wild and forged my strength in silence. I joined an alliance and watched the lands around me.

For now, the world was quiet.

One day a letter arrived.

It came from a stranger far beyond my lands — a simple message, carried across kingdoms while mine still stood in peace.

I did not know then how quickly that peace would vanish.

I read his words, answered in kind, and thought little of what the day might bring.

By morning, the kingdom had changed.

The army I had built was gone.

One enemy had found me while I slept, and when I opened my eyes, there was nothing left to command. No army. No protection. Just an empty barracks and the bitter knowledge that someone had struck while I wasn’t watching.

I did not wait.

I sent one man.

My hero.

He rode out alone and found the warriors who had taken everything from me. He fought until almost none remained.

One soldier was left alive, one to tell the tale.

He had taken my army when I slept, But I had taken his army right before his eyes.

But victory demanded its price.

My hero fell.

For a moment, there was only silence.

Then, from far beyond my lands, help came.

The stranger who had once sent me a letter was no longer a stranger. He came bearing a potion said to return life to the fallen. I poured it over my fallen hero, and where death had claimed him, life returned.

That day, a pact was forged between us.

His lands would have my protection.
Mine would have his.

And should either kingdom be threatened, the other would answer.

I did not forgotten what had happened while I slept.

My army was gone.

There was nothing left to send.

So I rebuilt.

Day by day, the ranks returned. The forges burned again. And slowly, the strength I had lost began to return.

But I had not forgotten who had taken it from me.

So I built the catapults.

And this time, I didn’t send them to fight his army.

I sent them to destroy his home.

Then another man came for my supplies.

He came with his horses.

took what he could, and left.

So I answered by tearing down his stable.

If he wanted to raid me with horses, he would have nowhere to keep them.

Others soon came looking for an easy prize.

They found my village instead.

One by one, they came.
One by one, they learned.

By the end of the week, the catapults had spoken for me.

The message was simple.

My lands were not free for the taking

Been playing Travian on and off for years (some TW too) and I've started working on my own browser game in that style. Very early and there's nothing to sign up for. Just want to hear from people who actually play.

Hey, any veterans around here? I’m about to start on Europe x1 and play with some Romans. I’ll have around 500 gold to start with, but I’m wondering how you guys usually rush your second village.

I know the first week is really important, and I usually log in right from the first minute, but I must be doing something wrong because I never seem to get my second village before beginner protection ends.

How do you guys usually do it? Any tips would be appreciated! 😄

P.s. Also, what’s the deal with duals? I’ve never had one before. Is it basically the same thing as a sitter?
