💬 Discussion udaipur dinner where the food is actually as good as the lake view? getting tired of paying for scenery 😭
need one properly good dinner in udaipur and i'm realising “lake view” tells me absolutely nothing about the food 😭
half the famous pichola places look insane and then someone says the food is mid.
don't mind spending if dinner actually carries the bill.
currently looking at ambrai / upre / jagat niwas and sheesh mahal at the leela because that one at least sounds like a proper dinner + view situation, not just another rooftop charging view tax.
if food comes FIRST and lake view second, where are you going?
special occasion, no strict budget.

🚆 Travel Experiences Took on one of India's most challenging road trip routes — 2,500 km in 7 days
Just got back from a 7-day road trip, and thought I'd share the route here!
Started from Ambala on 28 September and returned on 4 October, covering around 2,500 km.
Route: Ambala → Srinagar → Leh → Manali → Dehradun → Ambala
The plan was to cover as much as possible in a week, and it turned out to be quite a journey. Driving through Kashmir, Ladakh and Himachal, and then making my way back via Dehradun, made for a memorable road trip.
Looking back, 2,500 km in 7 days sounds a little crazy, but that's part of the fun of road trips, right? 😅
Anyone here who's done a similar route? Would love to hear about your experiences and what routes you'd recommend for my next trip.

Solo Traveller Looking for Company in Northeast India 🇮🇳
Hey guys, I’m 30 and currently travelling solo around India. I’ll be reaching Guwahati soon and planning to explore the Northeast.
I’m thinking of Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh or Nagaland, but I’m pretty flexible with dates and can change the plan depending on what’s better.
Would love some recommendations for places to visit, good/affordable homestays, and places that are actually worth exploring.
Also, if anyone is travelling solo around these places next week or is already there, feel free to DM me. We can meet up, explore together and split some travel costs too. 😄
I’m travelling solo anyway, so having some company would be nice. Let’s see where the trip takes us!
