Characters Unique Reloads

Just characters with unique reloads. That's it.

Equilibrium: Clerics wrist mags

Various games - Iraqi Reload: A few games have this reload, including Call of Duty and The Finals. I would've put The Finals version here but I couldn't find a gif of it.

Battlefield Hardline - Various reloads: Various guns have a chance for a unique reload, these are two of my favorites.

Battlefield 1 - Double Barrel: The sawed off has a chance to mimic the reload from the Classic Doom double barel reload

Many of the characters in Deadlock have the most unique character design and reload animations I have ever seen.

In the gif, Solomon, uses a chessboard and chess pieces as his ammo. He flips it over a reloads it into a game that matches the amount of ammo he carries.

The character Rem carries a little candle as his weapon and shake out the candle that will later relight itself. Paige uses a book as her "gun" and when it runs out of ammo, she will close the book and flip to another page. The Doorman drops his gun into a portal and another portal will drop a new gun for him to use.

just to add, doorman's gun is a keyring, and the drifter is a vampire who throws blood out of sharp ass claws

My favorite newest reload aside from Solomon has to be Baba's too, who shoots out magic bolts from her hands and when she reloads she takes a sip from her teapot.

That sounds like a nasty place to have claws. Explains the blood ig.

Yes 100% I posted above about deadlock in another comment chain and then saw this post. Deadlock is pure reload porn, if anyone wants to see amazing reload animations just download the game and cycle through all the characters in the training area.

I love how Mirage reloads.

He's carrying a Djinn's lamp while she's inside it, acting as her bodyguard. So his other hand is always full and he has a pistol in his main. He flicks it up, smoke comes out of the lamp, and fills up the gun for him.

It's not as awesome as a lot of them (like Solomon's above), but the simplicity in it is so great.

And then each board state for each amount of ammo is a reference to some game of chess

Then there's billy who just EATS the old clip.

Considering Billy has the goat head but still has a human body, that probably means he still has a human stomach. Can his body even handle all that lead and brass?

Probably not, but he'd probably say "Who the hell are you to question if I can?" if you asked him

O’Doyle from President Curtis could. But he’s half leprechaun.

I'll always be thankful for his abshole.

I like the rat king reload where his subjects basically throw out a bunch of junks from his gun to unjam it

Words cannot express how much I wish I was good at Deadlock because of just how cool all of the characters are.

Unfortunately, I am absolute dog water at MOBAs and have no interest in getting good at them so fuck me, I guess.

Street Brawl exists as a much more low-stakes slugfest if you don’t want to invest into an understandably large learning curve.

Also, if rumours/leaks are to be believed, a PvE co-op mode in the works.

A pve mode would be really cool. I loved the ones they made for dota before they killed them.

Agreed, I’d still be playing Dota daily if the likes of Siltbreaker/Diretide/Frostivus/New Bloom were a permanent fixture.

real af lol

How much of a moba is it? I've not seen much of the game but I thought it looked more like a hero shooter

Consider laning assignments, last hitting minions for money, denying minions to your opponents, and having an incredibly dense and complicated menu of many many items with item recipes linking them together with every item build teetering on the edge of viability vs garbage.

It's a MOBA through and through. I have played it.

And then there's Baba who sips tea

Infernus uses a “finger gun” and shakes out his hand to reload lmao

u/SuperSocialMan 3h ago

Why is he so committed to having fewer shots lol

That’s brilliant design
