Please, please stop using the acronym WMD in this argument. The term is too broad and depending on the definition can become false. Sadam did have chem weapons, he used them against the Kurds and had stock piles. I destroyed some of it personally. He had way less than other countries in that region and they were never a danger to the USA.

What he didn't have was a functional nuke program. He had stockpiles of yellow cake but that is far from enriched for power generation, let alone weapons-grade.

Please just say he didn't have nukes.

They did not. We had massive amounts of intel that he did. Because he fed it. He wanted people to believe he still had them to keep his enemies at bay. We knew that tok. But we also knew there would be no way to know for sure without going into it.
