This happened at Ulta a few weeks back. What the hell am I stealing in my tiny ass purse large enough to hold a phone and credit card?

Ulta is so annoying! I get asked if i need help no less than 6 or 7 times. And then they hover hard. LET ME BROWSE AND READ THE BACKS OF EVERY PRODUCT I will ask if I need help.

They do that because they earn commission on sales. It’s why they ask “Did anyone help you today” when you go to check out.

Ugh Sephora does that, and when I say no they always say “oh I’m so sorry”. And it’s like, I came in for my ridiculously expensive facial care products, I know where they are, it’s taken me less than 5 minutes to from entering the store to end up at checkout.

“Sales associate” inside of a retail store is the most bullshit job ever. Leave me alone lol. I literally came in here to buy these products, I don’t need you talking me through it. And if I do, I’ll come and find you to ask.

Like seriously just leave me tf alone if you work in a store. I find it inappropriate for you to talk to me as a potential client, personally.

If you are a random person who doesn’t work in that store, sure, I would love sit there and chat with you. Because that’s a genuine human moment. Talking to a sale associate inside of the store they work at, is not a genuine human moment. So don’t harass me with that, please.

Right, but you can tell a difference between stalking and trying to be helpful for a commission.
