He definitely already has and probably currently is. He's just gaslit her into thinking every interaction he has with women is a "godly interaction that God pushed him to do". I saw it all the time in the church I grew up in. Literally heard men talk about these things as if they were normal. "God told me to talk to her, but it was the devil that overpowered us because he didn't like God having us talk. You have to understand it was a demon and he won't stop until I beat him. So I am going to go talk to more women so I can overcome this temptation and let God into that conversation!"
Here's what I hate about Christian men (I used to be a Christian, I'm still a man), they have these "heart to hearts" with God, they have these "battles with the devil", what if... just what if, we talked about our bodies like we talk about the devil and God.
Like God led me, but the devil tricked me? No, be honest, what led you there? "I went to her because she was wearing a [insert mutual like] shirt and I went over there to talk to her" the devil didn't trick you, "yeah, so I kept talking to her, we both wanted to watch [whatever] so I invited her over/went over and I should have left, but I stayed because I wanted sex"
I think religion can teach us to be honest about our "yuckiness" and not just tell Sky daddy sorry and never learn, it's to see those "sins" and be honest with ourselves, how do I avoid the "devil" in the future? So I can approach her and talk about mutual likes, but don't be alone with her, got it. The "devil" is your weakness in this, using lust as the example.
This is totally armchair psych 101 of me. But something felt odd in the way the dude was more expressive (and man, I've never found body language and the way someone talks with their hands so gross before), more confident in his words too, compared to the very still, expressionless, and very clearly "reading a script" the woman came across.
The whole thing was completely suss and off putting.
I dont know what it is but American Christianity specifically uses that terminology and antagonist lens. It's all they say, there's fucking millions of them in the biggest economy in the world, nowhere safer to be Christian on the planet and yet there always has to be an enemy waiting behind everything. Absolute madness
The easiest way to consolidate a tribe is to identify an external threat.
And if the tribe is kept busy defending itself against that threat, its members become much more willing to tolerate the rot within. Then they are much less willing to believe external criticism, which can be dismissed as just another attack, distortion, or lie.
It’s the same with their politics domestically and internationally. Always somebody out to get them. Perpetually in fear all the time. Even when nobody is really out to get them.
I have family that fully believe there’s really a “war on Christmas” and will proudly exclaim that they tell people merry Christmas as if they’re doing something. For one thing, happy holidays is a catch all cuz not fucking everybody celebrates Christmas. It doesn’t take away from your holiday, it just include everyone’s holiday. And for a second thing, I get the mix of happy holidays and merry Christmas all the time and usually say merry Christmas. No one gets offended. No one corrects me. If anything, it’s these types of Christian’s that make the others the victims by dismissing their religious beliefs in order to make theirs the one and only truth.
They have such stupid persecution complexes it’s maddening

I mean there's a reason that fascists chose the religious right to dupe. They've already shown that they're gullible, malleable, and prone to fear-based manipulation.
That's the problem with these Christian videos. I don't believe they've healed as a couple. I think they're using this performance to convince me that they are healed but none of that is any of my business.
This type of nonsense is exactly where women's liberation came from in the first place. Conservatives are literally just people incapable of learning from mistakes.
I grew up with these kinds of people. They dont have any friends, if they have a hobby its something small and isolated that they keep hidden like a dirty secret, and all of their "dreams" revolve around being seen as "normal" and obtaining social status. The things they worry about most arent if they or the people around them (especially their children) are happy and feel safe, its whether or not they have control over their manufactured lives. They spend this huge amount of effort telling themselves a make believe story about what thier life is like rather than acknoledging reality and working on it. Then when something breaks their illusion they double down and bury themselves in cope. They say the words, do the half hearted motions, fool themselves into believing thats what they think, but anyone nit in the illusion can tell at a glance that they are miserable, stifled, ridgid, and stagnant. This lady for example, her illusion was probably something like "i met prince charming and we are going to live for 55 years in a sweet little villa on the edge of town with 3 children and have big family Christmas dinners every year" or something like that, then when he cheated on her instead if leaving him to go find a proper partner she just lied to herself until it became true.
The worst part of these groups are the people who stay in this wonderland but arent fooled by the illusion. Those are the abusers. They know its all bullshit, but they use the willingness of the sheep to manipulate their way onto whatever twisted state of affairs they want. Like in this video, just look at jis smug smile and nodding. He knows what he did. He probably is still cheating on her. Hes proud of himself that he managed to Stockholm syndrom her into believing whatever this bullshit cope is that she is talking about.
These kinds of people are sad to live around, sad and destructive. You cant ever be friends with them because they will stab you in the back for status. You cant ever trust them because they will lie for an abuser or similar of that is what supports their illusion. Also they are just dull awful people to be around too. They are ridgid in poontless ways, like fun and joy themselves have to be regulated and measured and doled out on specific doses only at the appropriate times. Then if they ever see a wiff of genuine joy that somehow manifests within the caged reality they've built for themselves, they poince on it and strangle it, because they are so starved for any brief moment of genuine human experience that they are ravenous for it. They are zombies that can speak and smile, except they eat sanity and joy instead of flesh and brains.
Only if she cheated, then he would probably be violent and not forgiving. I wouldn't be suprised if he doesn't even let her have friendships or casual interactions with other men, because of "respect" and "submission".
It's not a sin as long as you go into a little box and tell a priest all about it while he jacks off on a little boy's hairless chest behind the partition.

I see what they're trying to do but wearing cheating as a badge of honor is not the way. It's just something you both chose to work through and overcome... that's only if he's not cheating anymore and is truly being faithful. Because if he is, then yall didn't overcome anything and she just chose to stay in a toxic relationship.
My ex boyfriends parents were like this. The man had multiple children outside of his marriage that were the same age and in the middle and the wife still stayed. She told me once that she made her promise to God and intended to keep it. We all went on a vacation to Puerto Rico for one of his baby mamas daughter’s wedding and everyone acted like it was super normal.
Funny to see couples trying to stay together after cheating and finding any way to justify it. God, the kids, whatever else.
I have been there and tried to stay after my wife cheated. It is a miserable life with no way out. The only way out is divorce. I know its expensive and you have to start all over again. But no TikTok video is gonna heal the wound. Just walk away. You dont have to be miserable. Cheers
