so this happened to me just now. I wish I was recording from the start but an audino catch screen, that I quick caught from my previous set, covered my entire screen as the match started. I had to press back, and then it showed the match properly. so idk if this is new or not but guess it has to do with quick catching

This is my second season really trying. I came within a few points last season multiple times so I’m so glad I finally did it. Finished with a 4-1 and 5-0 set.

I had a few teams this season. S quag, Empoleon, H electrode got me to 2200-2300 then plateaued. Cradily cup tanked my Elo and then the Ape team brought me back 400 points or so in about a week.

A couple things I’ve learned: S Quag is the goat and this was my first season using it (never used dunsparce before either). And cups are the absolute worst and I’ll never play one again.

I’m happy to be able to mess around with some spice the rest of the season. S ninja time!

Im quite new to GBL, only started last season and made it to rank 20 previously and now at ACE. Before Ace i was always averaging 4-5 wins but now im here im averaging 2 and soemtimes 3 wins rarely. I need tips please .

Does anyone else miss waiting for the next monthly Silph Arena meta to drop?

Seasons 1 and 2 were amazing. There was something exciting about finding out the new theme, building teams, figuring out what might work, and seeing everyone’s ideas come together at tournaments. Every month gave us something to look forward to.

I had a small role in the Pokémon GO PvP community, hosting tournaments and producing livestreams. It was a lot of work behind the scenes, but I’m proud I got to contribute. Some of my favourite memories came from bringing people together around this game.

I met so many amazing people. Like any community, there were difficult experiences and people I wouldn’t work with again, but those don’t erase what made it special. The friendships, familiar names, local rivalries, and shared excitement made it feel like we belonged to something.

I don’t produce livestreams anymore, but I still love watching Play! Pokémon GO streams. They remind me how much I enjoyed being involved.

I miss the battles, but I think I miss the people and that monthly sense of anticipation even more.

What’s your favourite Silph Arena memory? Was there a particular cup or season you wish you could experience again?

Has anyone else been experiencing serious bugs in GBL since yesterday? I've been having so many issues that it's directly affecting my battles and my win rate.

Here are the main problems I've encountered:

- Charged move minigame not appearing: My Pokémon faces the screen as if it's using a charged move, but none of the bubbles appear. The attack basically does nothing, and I lose the turn and the energy.

- Charged move timing bug: Sometimes I try to launch a charged move at the same time as my opponent. If they're even slightly faster, my Pokémon still appears to be performing its charged move (without the mini game), but I'm actually the one taking their attack. Worse, the option to use a shield doesn't appear, so I end up taking damage that I could have blocked.

- Charged move energy not accumulating: I've had situations where my energy bar simply doesn't fill up despite using my fast attacks.

These aren't just minor visual glitches. They can completely change the outcome of a battle.

My win rate has dropped dramatically. I usually hover around a 50% win rate, but across yesterday's 25 battles and today's 50 battles, I've lost 54 out of 75 games. 7 of my wins were due to players quitting at the very start.

I've even lost battles against teams that should have been heavily disadvantaged against mine, simply because these bugs prevented me from attacking properly or using my shields when I needed them.

I'm not claiming every single loss is caused by a bug, but when the game prevents you from using charged moves or shields correctly, it becomes extremely difficult to play competitively.

Is anyone else experiencing these specific issues since yesterday? I'd really like to know whether this is a widespread problem or something affecting only certain devices or connections. I didn't change anything (phone, connection or strategy)

So I got this stufful from the spotlight hour is there anything to do with this? Or just keep it?
I thought maybe like shadow claw payback with drain punch can do something?

I want to get my Kyurem ready for the Wild Area event. I’m currently powering it up and accumulating energy. I already know all of the IV’s for Black Kyurem will come from Kyurem. What I can’t seem to find is if there is any CP boost when fusing the Pokémon together. For example, I know it’s different but when you transform Zacian from it’s Hero of Many Battles form to its Crowned form, it’s CP does boost. I was wondering if there was any benefit to the CP when fusing into Black Kyurem?

Why can't I use this Pokémon in little cup? I have one under 500cp, it's a base form and can evolve.....

Since we're getting a lot of Form change Pokemon recently, I wonder if we'll get a Greninja to Ash Greninja form change in the future🤞🤞.

Something like if you knock out your opponent with a charge move you transform, and get an attack boost.
