Hi - I'm LTB the new Cherry Tree record, if anyone is mostly in the club for the ticket access. I am not picky and (obviously) willing to pay the annual fee + shipping and any Paypal G&S fees.

Also, if anyone is looking to get out of the record collecting game altogether, or just has earlier CT volumes that they just don't listen to or want to keep - I may be interested in those as well.

I just got back into collecting after nearly ten years away, so I've missed the entire CT run. It seems that many of them (apart from the first few) trade near to that $50-60 range, but we can obviously talk things through. I know the first few are crazy-expensive; fortunately, I'm more of a listener than a completion-ist, so I don't think I'll pay the crazy resale prices for those.

I'm a huge National fan, of course, and I'll be subscribing for future years' offerings. Chat me if you're selling. Thanks!

There’s something about listening to The National late at night that makes their music feel completely different. Matt Berninger’s voice, the lyrics, and the slow-building instrumentals create a mood that’s hard to find in other bands. Some songs that seem ordinary during the day suddenly hit much harder when everything is quiet. Which The National song do you always come back to during those late-night listening sessions, and what makes it special to you?

as a one off concert and guitarists birthday celebration, how do you expect the setlist to be?

Do you think the setlist will be somewhat similar to their 2024 tour?
Or a massive revisit of their deepest cuts?
Or all of their most popular songs spanning their very long career?
Or maybe songs from the band members' solo works, collaborations etc.?

[Grian] Chatten has grown into having his voice match his natural speaking register. When he was younger, he’d strain to hit high notes, to prove himself as a singer. But now, with the monotone Matt Berninger, of the National, as a model, he realizes his range could lie elsewhere. “There are highs and lows within the writing itself,” he said.

I'm so excited to compare it with the original release and hear the differences between the two!

Does anyone have an idea about the duration of the Sirens show? Considering it's starting at 18:00 and The National are starting at 19:30 it should be a little more than an hour long so people have time to get there, right? I would hate it if the two shows ended up overlapping.

I noticed my card was charged yesterday and I just got an email saying my order has shipped! No date yet but at least things are moving.

Just curious. I bought their Four Tet one back in the day and still love it. Occasionally, they put out unusual show posters. This one came out in 2010. Such a nice one.
