Her continuous confusion about Maxwell being the butler, showing up in full sequins at 10 AM, her chain-smoking, and her hilarious filterless advice to Fran... she basically stole every scene she was in with just 2 lines of dialogue.
What’s your favorite Yetta moment or quote? She was an absolute legend

For me, it’s the way she talks to the children and the way she talks about them.

Why did they get so upset about the kids not remembering their mother when they had years to do that? They knew Sara the most and should have been more involved. I know that the writers didn't think about getting them involved but still. They should have done more to be more involved with the kids.

Does anyone know if she had lines that didn’t make it to the final cut? You can’t even really tell she’s in her square when it zooms into Whoopi. I think she’s on the bottom. Reminds me of the formerly lost Drew Carey Show episode that had Dan Castellanetta (Homer Simpson’s voice actor) as an on-camera guest star, and in all subsequent reruns, all his scenes got cut because it was too “offensive.” But he was still credited. Now the full episode has been restored. I even have the original airing that was ripped from VHS. I’m sure acting in front of a live studio audience wasn’t and still isn’t really his thing, and he worked very hard. I would’ve been happy to be credited for 27 years until it finally got released on DVD, but upset that all my scenes got cut.
Is this a normal thing for sitcoms? I wish, if Estelle didn’t even have a line the whole time, that they could’ve still shown her face up close! Why would’ve they have booked her on the show if they didn’t even show her? Why not get random extras that didn’t have tons of credits? I also hope nothing happened because she had trouble remembering her lines and they just didn’t bother trying to include her. It’s so sad how there were early signs on the Golden Girls and Bea Arthur would get so frustrated with poor Estelle, because it would make the taping last longer.

We have pretty much exhausted the controversial opinions about a show that ended decades ago. However, the discussions here consistently demonstrate a strong grasp of the show's lore, character arcs, and unresolved plot points.
Moving forward, Tuesday is for narrative and universe expansion. Every week, this thread will present a specific scenario, abandoned plotline, or pivot point. Your task is to step into the writer's room. Pitch the resulting episode, explain the ripple effects on the characters, or break down the dialogue.

They appear in nearly almost of the episodes and they’re not a part of the regular cast.

A friend sent me this from Lauren’s instagram page. If you’re lucky enough to be attending have a great time we will all look forward to hearing and maybe seeing how it went.
Edit: I have no more info other than what’s in the picture. It’s off what seems to be Lauren’s offical page or whatever the tick thing means. 🤷♂️ So I don’t know, I don’t live in the states I simply shared it as something to share with fans who might be wherever this is being held and can attend that’s all.

If so, what were they like? I need to know!

Maxwell is always talking about him and about how much he hated Cats and other musicals Andrew Lloyd Webber made. He had to have appeared once on the show.
