Capitalism has made caring about other people feel like a luxury 💀

When survival becomes an individual financial responsibility, community and mutual care start to disappear. We’re so focused on earning money, protecting what little we have, and simply getting by that helping others feels optional instead of human.

And the cruelest part? The people who need the most support are usually the ones who can’t afford it.
You need stable housing to improve your mental health, but you need money to get housing. You need a job to survive, but you need money to maintain the basic necessities required to work.

It’s a fucking vicious cycle.
Then people becoming isolated, disconnected, and responsible only for themselves. Needing help is treated like a personal failure, while sympathy replaces solidarity. People will feel bad for you all day long but actually helping? God forbid it costs them anything.

Human beings were never meant to live like this. We need community, cooperation, and mutual support.

Why the fuck have we built a world where someone can be surrounded by people and still be completely alone?
