I wrote a bunch of poems based on the fears (and I'm hoping to write more!!). Please let me know what your favorites and your thoughts are (I'm especially proud of the ones I wrote for the buried, slaughter, and spiral).

I am watching the Twilight Zone for the first time and am currently several episodes in.

I noticed that most of them fit SO WELL into the framework of the Powers/Fears.

So, here are the entities that the first few episodes seem to relate to. I would love to hear the thoughts of anyone familiar with both bodies of work:

 "Walking Distance" is the weakest link I think. A man walks from a nearby gas station to his childhood home while his car is being repaired. He is shocked to discover that nothing has changed in twenty years, only to realise that he has somehow entered the town as it was twenty years before. Everyone thinks he is mad and he even frightens his younger self into running away and being injured so severely that it gives the adult him a permanent limp. He is eventually told by his father that he does not belong there and needs to leave as there is only space for two of him. He realises that he has become an interloper and must return to the present. I figure that the way he is both himself but also an imposter from the perspective of those in the past of himself is sort of Stranger-esque?

I'm not used to wearing Halloween Costumes, but I could probably manage to make something that's not too complicated, do you guys have any ideas or have you worn something before?

I’ve been listening to TMP again, and at the end of the second case, RedCanary gets banned for posting eye-related gore.

Under the post, someone commented: “What the hell is that? Are those eyes? Are you alright?”

So, my question is: Is this supposed to be a very early tease at the Archivist?

I have never done a cosplay before!
I am utterly CONVINCED that TMA is a workplace horror series!
I work at a company that is allowing me to “dress up” on Halloween, but I cannot wear patterns :)
I am limited to only the colors black and orange. For my shirt.
what accessories should I add to work around this, and how best can I add eyes to my very limited range my job has given me?
Should I buy some grey hair dye?

Edit: I want to go with a version on Jon that has glasses (I am desperate for accessories) what type of glasses do most people think he wears?

And since we all identify with one or more of the fears, such as me with The Dark, I think I would actually be an avatar of The End.

I have what I describe as an unhealthy obsession of knowing what lays beyond the veil of Death. I have told others that I don't just want to know I NEED to know. It feels like someone who is blind trying to describe what being blind is like or in reverse describing a color to a blind person. Much like The Eye compelling those to obsessively need information, this is how I view my need to know what lays beyond The End. I don't know how to spoil individual text on Reddit mobile app(sorry) TW talk of suicide incoming.

This obsession, this NEED has led me to attempt many times over the [REDACTED] years of my life. One this year which led to a 3 month stay at a VA psychiatric/rehab hospital. Good news, I am going to many different forms of therapy now.

And God, I really think the listeners' favoritism toward Alice keeps them from realizing that she makes just as many boneheaded decisions as Sam and Gwen. For instance in the twentieth episode she learns that Fr3-d1 is spying on her and the others just as Colin had warned them yet even after that she doesn't think to simply try communicating with him again, now that they were not only on the same page but reading from the same book. Four episodes later, when he finally reappears, he is acting dangerously aggressive and isn't willing to talk to anyone. At this point, I think it’s safe to say that her fatal flaw is an incredibly slow reaction time.

I’m currently working on bookbinding the transcripts and am working out some details in the formatting. In the official transcript Not!Sasha is labeled as such from the moment she appears and when I first listened I was aware it wasn’t her because I listened to the audio credits at the end.

In the current transcript I’m planning on printing she’s labeled as Not!Sasha everytime she speaks. However some of my friends have expressed interest in reading my the transcripts when they are done (they have never listen to the audio befote). So I’m debating going through and changing every label of Not!Sasha into just Sasha to keep it a mystery.

I guess my question is, do you guys think it’s better to keep the mystery of Not!Sasha hidden till the reveal or just keep it how it is?

I have a battle vest that I got a huge hole in. I was just gonna cover it with a bigass patch but then I had an eyedea...

the paint is textured and flourescent / glow in the dark.

I had some completely black canvases laying around and the urge to make fanart came over me. I am also rapidly running out of black, white, and blue paint, but that might be because practically all I paint is the ocean and space anyway lmao

Also each one is supposed to be based on a statement/multiple statements

I’m about halfway through TMA, and I’ve noticed that most of the Vast statements are from people already drawn to it, like skydivers or divers. Is there any in universe reason/theories yall have for that?

Weekly Magtober Week 3: Monster

Jon didn't even get a chance to rest after his life-threatening experiences with Mike Crew and Daisy, only to get hit by the gutting realization that he isn't even a human being anymore.

Everything he did, every terrible monster he faced, every scar he sustained, he did to try to understand the thing he was becoming. And that fear and desperation only led to the knowledge that he was, in his mind, a monster.

Last night I had a dream about a Leitner that was found. It was like a Time Life magazine but for people who had no lives. It only took people with nothing going on. It took a long time to realize it was cursed because it only triggered if you read the whole thing and obviously had nothing better to do.

I guess it was like the Book of the Dead because it summarized its victims entire lives in a few paragraphs, like a biographical piece, right up until they read the magazine. Then they vanished.

This has to be The Lonely right? Reading a magazine about nobodies who did nothing, only to realize that you're just like them?

We all know the classics, e.g. Worm Sex Guy, Bug Wife Man, Homophobic Vase, and who could forget our beloved P.O.U.S. (Pig Of Unusual Size). What other episodes deserve to be summarised badly?

It’s been a while since I posted updates on my fears sleeve progress but I’ve added three fears finally bringing me to over half done!

I added the wolf(hunt) an eclipse(dark) and an ant mill(spiral). Just got a few more to go then filler I’m hoping to have it done by the end of the year!
