I would love a pre-TBI short story featuring Quai, he' such a fun and positive character, at least in the beginning, and he lest Logan show his best sides.

Yes, he's so refreshing ! Everyone is fighting and scheming meanwhile Quai is just babbling and failing his lessons haha. And his dynamic with Logen is really fun.

Of course! I like its simplicity while also conveying the depth of the forest, and the way you’ve made his eyes and the stars in the sky match is really effective (gives him a both a fascinating and unsettling vibe)

Already finished The Blade Itself, Quai surely deserved some slack, he's trying his best and something feels off with the "guy" in the later part of the first book... (Don't tell me, yet)
