🎵 Fun Educational Songs for Little Learners! 🌈🔢🎃

Hi everyone! We're Starry Fairyland, a children's music project creating English-language songs for young learners.

Our songs help little ones explore numbers, counting, shapes, and other early-learning concepts through music and colorful animated videos.

We also have a cute, cheerful Halloween song called “Halloween Fairyland,” filled with friendly ghosts, playful pumpkins, and a little touch of magic! 👻🎃

Our goal is to make learning fun and encourage children to sing along. Our music and visuals are AI-generated, and we'd love to hear feedback from parents and educators!

Free addition word problem generator with printable answer keys

I created Paperloop Math, a free worksheet generator. This page creates addition word problems that you can print, with an optional separate answer key.

Example: “Mia has 18 stickers. She gets 7 more. How many stickers does Mia have?” Students can write 18 + 7 = 25 and explain what each number represents.

You can generate another set when you need fresh practice. No account is required.

Free PSAT/NMSQT Math Practice — Printable Test + PowerPoint Review

I'm the creator behind Watermelon Education. I made a free PSAT/NMSQT math practice resource for teachers and tutors who want printable questions and matching slides for reviewing them together.

The download includes Letter and A4 PDFs, Whiteboard and Dark PowerPoint versions, and answers with worked explanations. Each slide has its answer and explanation in the speaker notes. There are 66 unique questions across Module 1 and two Module 2 routes; one practice route uses 44 questions.

One way to use it: assign a practice module, then project selected questions for an error-analysis session. The alternate Module 2 can be used for follow-up practice.

Free resource (a free TPT account is required to download):

https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Free-PSATNMSQT-Math-Practice-Test-0-66-Questions-PDF-PPT-17948628

This is an independently created practice resource, not an official College Board test. It does not provide official adaptive routing or score conversion.

Free Halloween snack-budget activity in Google Sheets | grades 6-8 + adult beginners

Creator disclosure: I make the SheetCraft resources at SkillBuilders Studio. This is my free English Halloween Snacks starter for grades 6-8 and adult beginners.

Learners use a five-item fictional snack order to multiply quantity by unit price, fill formulas down, use SUM, and check whether the total fits a $20 budget. Editable Google Sheets starter and solved teacher workbooks, printable reference and practice pages, and Easel companions are included. Google Sheets in a desktop browser and internet access are needed for spreadsheet practice.

Teaching idea: change one quantity and have learners predict the effect on the total before checking the formula. Then ask them to explain the money remaining.

Free TPT resource: https://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/Google-Sheets-Halloween-Snacks-Free-Starter-17933349

For constructive feedback: would a worked example of one line cost or a visual guide to filling formulas down help your beginners more?

With all the educational options available now, why are we still arguing about which type of school is better?

I've been in education for 16 years, and it's honestly amazing how much has changed.

We now have traditional schools, charter schools, private schools, homeschooling, small homeschool groups, virtual programs, and even AI-based schools.

Parents have so many more options than they did years ago.

But I still hear so many conversations about whether public school is better than homeschooling, whether private school is worth the money, or whether homeschooled kids are missing out.

And I keep thinking... why does one have to be better than the other?

I've taught students who did great in traditional classrooms and others who really struggled in that same environment. I've also worked with students who were passing their classes but had academic gaps going back several grade levels.

Sometimes a change in environment makes a huge difference. Sometimes the student just needs additional support right where they are.

I think we get so caught up in where kids go to school that we forget to ask whether they're actually learning.

And honestly, what works for a child in elementary school might not work for them in middle or high school.

I'm curious how other parents and educators feel about this.

Do you think we've reached a point where we should stop comparing educational models and focus more on finding the right fit for each child?

I ended up writing a little more about this because it's something I've been thinking about a lot lately:

https://joyseducationalservices.org/post/education-choices-student-success

Would love to hear different perspectives, especially from families who have tried more than one educational setting.

A personalized field-trip pouch for teachers (I make these)

I run The Named Nest, a small Etsy shop making personalized gifts for educators and school staff. I’ve been working on a teacher field-trip pouch designed to keep the small essentials together for busy off-campus days.

I’m sharing it here because this community allows education-related products, and I’m the seller—so this is self-promo. If you’d like to see the listing: https://www.etsy.com/listing/4554575366/personalized-teacher-field-trip-pouch

Teachers: what do you actually wish you had in your field-trip bag? I’m curious what I may be overlooking.

What do you do when you have 10 minutes left and your students are already losing focus?

You know that awkward moment when there are still 10 minutes left in class, but half the students have already mentally checked out?

Some have finished their work, some are still catching up, and starting a whole new topic doesn't really make sense.

I've been looking into simple ways to handle those last few minutes without turning them into more prep work.

Here are a few ideas I really like:

1. The 60-second challenge

Put one question on the board and give everyone a minute to come up with an answer. It can be a quick math problem, a vocabulary question, or something from the lesson.

2. Think–Pair–Share

Ask a question, give students a moment to think, then let them discuss with a partner. Simple, no extra materials, and it gets more people involved.

3. Mini team competitions

Split the class into small teams and turn the last few minutes into a quick review game. Even a few questions can make things feel less like another assignment.

4. Browser-based classroom games

This is another option I've been exploring. Something students can jump into for a quick activity without spending ages setting things up.

I actually started building a little project around this idea: https://classroom-games.net/

Full disclosure: I'm the developer. It's still an early project, and I'm sharing it as another option for teachers who might find it useful.

Of course, sometimes a simple question on the whiteboard works better than any website.

I think the real trick is having a few low-prep activities ready, so those last 10 minutes don't turn into everyone just watching the clock.

What's your go-to activity when a lesson finishes earlier than expected?

Free English learning resources (A1–C2) + ready-to-use lesson plans, games and classroom activities

Hi everyone!
I’d love to introduce Amberly Learning, an English learning platform I’ve been developing for both English learners and teachers.
The idea behind Amberly is simple: make English learning more engaging, accessible and enjoyable, while helping teachers spend less time preparing lessons.

Here’s what you’ll find:

📚 Free reading and listening resources – Articles covering interesting topics, from history and science to psychology, travel and everyday life, available at all six CEFR levels (A1–C2), with British English audio and vocabulary support.

📝 Ready-to-use lesson plans – Printable resources for each article and level, including comprehension questions and activities for classroom or independent learning.

🎮 Interactive English games – Vocabulary, pronunciation, idioms, phrasal verbs and more, with different difficulty levels.

🧠 Grammar Corner – Clear grammar explanations followed by interactive quizzes.

👩‍🏫 Classroom activities – A growing collection of activities designed to get students speaking, thinking and actively using English.

🎧 Additional practice – Dictation challenges, IELTS-style exercises and printable vocabulary flashcards.

All articles and their audio are completely free to access. Additional teaching and learning resources are available through Amberly+.

We’re still growing and adding new content regularly, and I’d genuinely love to hear what other teachers think!

If you’d like to explore the platform, here’s the link:

Teachers, what types of resources do you find yourselves spending the most time preparing? I’d love to use your feedback to help shape what we create next!

IT certification reading lessons and quizzes — free resource for independent study

Sharing a resource I’ve built that may be useful to tutors supporting adult learners with IT certification study. It’s called StudyKernel: https://studykernel.com/

Courses include A+, Network+, Security+ and Azure Fundamentals. Learners can read a lesson, work through its quizzes and see answer explanations, with their progress saved in their own account. There’s a roadmap for people who are still choosing a certification direction.

Every course lesson, lesson quiz and checkpoint is free, along with 10 extra practice questions daily. An optional Pro plan adds practice tools.

I’m the creator of the site. If you teach these subjects, I’d appreciate feedback on whether the explanations are clear enough for someone meeting the topic for the first time, and where another example would help.

This is independent study material; it doesn’t award the official qualifications.

Free AP World and AP U.S. History study support through May 2027 for the first 30 eligible students in each course

AP history teachers and homeschool families: know a teen who could use some extra practice with the history or the writing?

I'm Mark, a former history teacher and the founder of CL Learning Labs. I've built individual coaches for AP World History and AP U.S. History with lessons, practice questions and useful writing feedback. Students still make their own arguments, write their essays and decide how to revise. This is supplemental study support alongside a class or homeschool course.

The first 30 eligible students in EACH course who complete account setup and required verification get FREE access through May 31, 2027. No credit card needed, and no automatic paid subscription afterward!

AP World History: https://cllearninglabs.com/ap-world

AP U.S. History: https://cllearninglabs.com/ap-us-history

We also fixed and tested a problem with parent verification. If a family tried earlier and got stuck at that step, please encourage them to try again.

Eligibility: age 13+, US and Canada, with parent or guardian acceptance for minors. A free place is confirmed after completed setup; starting signup doesn't reserve one. If no free place is allocated, the separate optional plan is a 30-day trial with a card, then $12 USD/month unless canceled.

These are my products, not an independent recommendation. The offer is for individual students, not classroom licenses. Independent resources, not affiliated with College Board. Please share the links with a family who might find them useful.

Free preschool pattern activity: copy, finish and fill the gap

Here's a small pattern activity you can do with just two shapes: circle, square, circle, square. Copy the line first, then leave the end empty. Finally, take a shape out of the middle and work out what belongs there.

I made a printable version to go with Their First Patterns, one of the learning apps we make for our daughters. You can draw the shapes yourself, point on the page, or print the cards.

https://theirfirstwords.org/patterns/pattern-play

It's free, for roughly ages 3–5, and doesn't need an app or account. Black and white printing is fine. An adult should do the cutting. I'm a parent and the creator, not a teacher.

A free 7-minute audio story to introduce internet packets, DNS, and routers (ages 9-12)

We make Once Upon a How at Ozer Labs. This short audio story follows a drawing from Maya's phone to Grandma, split into three packets that take different roads. It introduces packets, routers, DNS, and TCP. Voices are AI-generated.

Listen on Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/4l2ULgkoolb4KwpJGAjPgR

Watch on YouTube: https://youtu.be/vs5f_ESo3LM

Simple follow-up: split a drawing into three numbered pieces, let them arrive out of order, and ask the group how to put the message back together.

Private tutors: a free lesson-credit worksheet and an iPhone ledger I made

Hi! I'm Yurii, the developer of Attendance Tracker: Class Log. This is for independent tutors and coaches who sell lesson packages, not a school-wide attendance system.

A small bookkeeping distinction worth keeping explicit: attendance and lesson-credit charges aren't the same thing. For a fictional 12-credit package, three delivered lessons leave 9 credits. An excused cancellation with no charge still leaves 9. A no-show charged under an agreed policy leaves 8. A later makeup should not accidentally charge both the cancelled slot and the replacement lesson.

I put together a free, no-login guide with a copyable ledger: date, outcome, credit change, remaining balance, and correction note. You can use it in a spreadsheet without downloading my app:

https://gatoficio.com/guides/prepaid-lesson-credit-ledger/

If an offline iPhone/iPad ledger is useful, the app tracks clients, packages and lesson outcomes and exports text, CSV or PDF statements. The first three client profiles are free; creating additional profiles requires optional monthly, annual or lifetime Pro. It does not process payments or create tax invoices. It requires iOS/iPadOS 26.

https://apps.apple.com/app/id6812559411?pt=128506477&ct=teacherspromote_20261009&mt=8

Which situation makes your package balance hardest to explain: no-shows, makeups, group lessons, or correcting a past entry? Please don't share identifying student details.

Disclosure: I made the app and guide; AI tools assist my development and writing workflow.

I built a phone-to-board tool for my classroom. Looking for 10 teachers to try it.

I’m a fifth-grade math and science teacher in Ohio, and I built SmartboardCamera. Snap a worksheet photo on your phone, put that same photo on your classroom board, and annotate it with the class. It runs in your browser, and students don’t need accounts.

I’m looking for 10 teachers to try it during one lesson and give me honest feedback. Was setup easy? Did it help? What got in the way?

Try it at https://smartboardcamera.com . Comment with your grade level and what you think!

Free, calm counting and color shorts for preschool/early years: made by me, AI-assisted animation

Hi educators. I'm the creator of a new, free YouTube channel, Children and Babies Be Happy. It's short, gentle animations for ages 0–6 on colors, counting, animals and small stories, with a bear cub named Kayra. To be transparent, the animation is made with AI tools; I write the concepts and scripts and check each video for accuracy and calm pacing (no loud effects or fast cuts).

This one is a short counting clip that could work as a transition or circle-time warm-up:

https://www.youtube.com/shorts/UY2megTtuc4

I'd really value feedback from early-years teachers: is this useful in a classroom, and what topics or skills would you want short videos for?

Passo a Passo Ativo: guided problem-solving in Portuguese (teacher-created iOS app)

I'm Samuel Isidoro, a teacher and the creator of Quanta. I'm sharing my own educational app, Passo a Passo Ativo, for students who study in Portuguese, especially those preparing for Brazil's ENEM and university entrance exams.

The idea is to make the reasoning visible: work through a question in guided steps, with checkpoints and feedback, instead of jumping straight to the final answer. It's intended as study support, not a replacement for a teacher or a promise of improved scores.

The app is in Portuguese, so it isn't an English-language curriculum resource. Installation on iOS is free; access to the study service uses a monthly subscription. Please check the current terms in the app before subscribing.

iOS: https://apps.apple.com/br/app/quanta-passo-a-passo-ativo/id6809988238

Product website: https://quantaaulas.com/questoes/

I'd welcome feedback from teachers working with Portuguese-speaking students: where would you place a checkpoint so a student has to explain a decision, rather than just tap through a solution?

Disclosure: this is my product, and AI tools assist my development and communication workflow.
