I'm finally getting a power wheelchair and am looking forward to returning to shooting steel at my local range. I need a way to safely carry my pistol while I am there. Thigh and cross-draw holsters are out because of the potential to sweep my legs (they have strict safety rules). Are there any holsters or cases that can mount directly to the chair and allow easy access to the handgun?

Anyone tried this brand for the tx22? I have one of their SS and have had great success but was looking for first hand experience with this platform

Is CCI Velocitor fine to use long term in a stock TX22? Are there any recommended upgrades, like stronger recoil spring or smth?

I’m using my pistol for a USPSA-like competition, and I like the loudness for ensuring the shot timer registers, but it is a significant amount more recoil than even Mini-mag. Worried I might be beating the gun up.

What suppressor(s) run the best, in yall's opinions? I'm running the Gen 1 of the TX22 and, ideally, would prefer that the suppressor not block the irons, but if I need to switch irons, that's not a big deal.

So Ive been running ss for probably 5k rounds and have decided I want to go back to semi auto. The issue is when I put the stock disconnect in the trigger just pulls with hitting the striker. The trigger arm literally pushes off the og disconnect and down cause it not to fire. Can anyone help? I'm over ss atm and really would like to do other things with the pistol now . Thanks for any help

Recently starting getting tons of intermittent light strikes and noticed the firing pin block was getting stuck up in the slide. Took out the block and noticed this. Around 4k rounds 100% suppressed semi auto only. Called Taurus to see if they’d send a replacement, but I have to ship them the gun so I just ordered an aftermarket one and a spare just in case.

Tried to sight in my TX22 and the holes in the paper were not round. They look like about the shape of a Tylenol pill. Suggestions to fix this?

Just got my new Tx22 full size and it seems the larger mag is missing a follower button like the shorter one has. Excuse my ignorance if it's not supposed to have one as I'm a noob, but just checking to see if it should. Thanks in advance!

Impossible to get to with anything I have in my tool box. Wondering what tool I would need to get to that tiny bolt holding front sight post in place.

I inherited a couple of 9mm/.40 Taurus pistols years ago that never inspired confidence, and I'd decided I was done with the brand. Then I sold my Sig Mosquito for a TX22 TORO (waited months to find one at retail, Bass Pro parking lot at opening).

• ~1,800 rounds, most of them suppressed (Rugged Oculus22) with a Vortex Defender-CCW green dot
• Every failure to fire was Winchester white box. Golden Bullet, Federal Champion, Aguila, CCI standard and CCI subsonic all ran clean. My Mosquito averaged several failures per mag.
• Ran it about 45 days on irons first. The optic is optional.
• Watch out: Taurus doesn't make it clear which screws the optic cut takes. The commonly recommended ones backed out after 3 rounds for me. M4 x 0.7 at 9.8mm with blue Loctite fixed it.
• No measured groups and nothing past 25 yards. I say so in the write-up.

Really liked the look of the Tx7 on the sea, had to make some internal changes for the 1 oz rate reducer to work. And a new charging handle. Then had an idea to use this pdw stock which surprise…needed more tweaking. What do y’all think?

Apparently the evil fuck my life elves have struck again. I was installing the victory trigger and after adjusting the screws I go to put the bar on and cannot find it. I’m working in a small area uncluttered table using a mat with magnetic sections. I kept everything organized and together so I wouldn’t lose anything (I was thinking springs and roll pins, the small stuff! ).

I’ve looked everywhere even somewhat possible and many impossible spots. I’m the only one here besides my dog. This makes no sense at all…

Needless to say I need a new one…I’ll be contacting Taurus tomorrow morning and hopefully they will sell me one. If not what are my other options?

If anyone has a spare they would be willing to sell I will be forever grateful. Long shot I know but worth trying…

But I just got a tx22 toro and I put a Texas trigger in it,and I’m running federal 40 grain in it. But after 1 round it fails to cycle another round, is it the mag or do I need to polish the trigger

Ordered some tk baseplates for some 16 rounders I have and swapped them in. Function fine but consistently lock back with one remaining. Mags worked perfect beforehand. 100% suppressed and 2 different kinds of ammo. Messing around in my basement can’t replicate the issue. Maybe switching back to factory springs? Has anyone else had this issue? Factory 22 rounders and 16 rounders work without issue.

Has anyone seen that old post where someone used tire weights to replicate a weighted backplate on a TX22 with an *F4T I’m trying to find out if anyone actually tried that setup and whether it worked as intended.
