Has anyone purchased an affordable stabilizer for there G3 ? I’ve found a couple online but they’re 300 + 🥲

Just wondering how many people have failure to load with Hollow Points, with their Taurus guns? I'm having failure to load with my G3C toro. Sent it back and got it back and still having the same problem. Anybody know on any answers to the problem.

I'm not really a Hogue grip guy so pulled this thing off of a G43X that recently bought with it and had it lying around. In a moment of boredom I figured I'd try it on the GX2 and with the exception of a little looseness at the heel of the pistol (2nd pic) it fits really well and actually feels quite good to me. So yeah, for anyone who's been bummed that Hogue hasn't added the GX2 to their line for Taurus, there ya go!

Hopefully someone in here has a little more insider info because I need help, I’ve spent the last month trying to source 2 17rd magazines for the full size tx9 and have had absolutely no luck. Everywhere is showing out of stock and the only info I’ve been able to gather is that they’re on back order until August of 2027 and I just can’t believe that’s right for a platform so new and popular. If anyone could guide me in the direction of where they’re in stock or fill me in on how there are no units available anywhere It would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

New to me today. Replaced the cheesy grips with some old school walnut. I really like it. Kind of a heavy trigger @ 7 lbs. What do you all think?

TX22 Competition SCR purchased in Nov of 25

Pistol would not function through a magazine. Had the same failure to feed.

I tried each of the 8 mags I have and a list of different ammo. 8 different combinations of brand, grain weight and hollow point vs round nose.

Sent it back to Taurus. They had it for about 4 weeks.

I got it back with documentation saying that they adjusted the feed ram. Immediately had the same issue.

To try to save myself another 4 weeks I just bought a brand new barrel direct from Taurus they offer on their website. Same issue. Taurus asked I send it back again. I told them all of the trouble shooting steps I did.

They had it for another 4 weeks.

In the mean time I bought a TX22 Toro, that runs perfect.

I get the SCR back. They say they replaced the mags. So just not listening to me that I tried different (new) mags. Still same issues. All mags and ammo work in the Toro, but not in the SCR.

Since they have the same frames, I swapped the frames and the slides. The issue staid with the frame.

Taurus said they would replace it. I sent them the pistol 18 weeks ago. They have not replaced it yet, and are unable to tell me when they will send it.

They just keep saying "Some pistols take longer to get in stock than others". Yes I get that. HOW LONG???

Also, you'd think they would ship warranty replacements before supplying to distributors / dealers, so are they saying they just haven't manufactured one in 18 weeks?

Credit to the reps I talk to on the phone: They are very nice, and have worked an offer to give me MSRP store credit towards something else, but I don't want something else. I want the pistol I purchased, OR a check from Taurus to get a different brand.

Just....awful. The toro I have works great, but if this is the experience IF something goes wrong, I just would not ever recommend it to someone.

title. these are the current prices at my local gun shop. Looking for a compact 9 for concealed carry that can also be a nightstand gun for home defense. Couple of caveats and YeahButs (RIP Paul):

- Only 9 I currently have is a first gen S&W M&P 9. Thing’s a tank and a beauty but I want a carry option and I want to give the whole red dot thing a whirl

- plan is to carry IWB at 3 o’clock. I like the Vedder holster I use for my Glock 23 but they don’t appear to make one for the GX4 Carry

- I value reliability above things like shootability and carryability

- yes I know a handgun isn’t the ideal home defense option but it’s the best option for me currently

- the price difference of $30 doesn‘t matter to me really

- guns are cool

P.S.: just picked up a 650 (357 snub) and talk about an absolute TANK. Love that thing. But having a compact 9 in the rotation sounds neat.

So I picked up a PT-101P from my local gun shop and I wanted to see if anyone can help me out. Can someone with a 100/101 magazine get me a measurement for the magazine catch hole and a measurement of the width of the magazine. Im not buying that they are not usable in the 101P because I had a 99af magazine laying around and it went in all the way the only thing was the catch holes were to small for it to lock into place.

How do I remove this custom paint job safely with removing or damaging the original paint job . Just got this for cheap just wanna have it in it’s original color

I am thinking about buying a G3X. Of course im doing my research. I've seen seen several videos where the small pin below the breakdown tabs had started working it's way out. Has anyone had this problem? What is that pin? Is there a solution to stop it from slipping. Has taurus addressed this? Is the G3X over all a good firearm?

Pretty much just the title. I have been looking for some tritium sights for my Tracker .44 magnum and I'm not having a ton of luck. Anyone got any recommendations?

I saw one of these in the gun shop, and I was excited thinking g it would be a six shot like the 856. I was puzzled when this new concealed hammer revolver (which I definitely see a market for) was only five shots like the old Model 85. I’m confused as to that choice, because if it was a six shot that would put it in a place to compete favorably against something like the Smith & Wesson 642 and 442.

I’m just trying to figure out magazine compatibility with my Taurus gx2, what magazine are you guys rocking?

It hasn't been shot in atleast a year. I have other guns I shoot more regularly. I had it out of safe to oil it up and noticed this roll pin slightly protruding. Problem is I don't know if it's always been like this and I just noticed it? What would cause it to protrude if not shot? If feels very firm and secure but am unsure if this should be sent into for warranty or not. The other side the roll pin is slightly recessed in the frame. If I push on it it feels very stiff and won't move. I've hit it with with metal Allen wrench and still no budging.

Love my new carry gun

Purchased a 605 toro last week, put a couple hundred rounds through it it since then. It performed well and the Vortex defender ccw enclosed really impressed me as well. After a little bit of researching holsters, I decided to purchase the Monocle from Harry’s Holsters yesterday. I’m curious to know if anyone else has this holster and if it was worth the price tag. It’s not like I can send it back considering you have to click the “product not eligible for return” check box. So if anyone has any experience with this holster please sound off in the comments.

PSA to anyone in this sub that have been thinking about shooting any competition but are unsure if their Taurus will be able to hang with competition guns….

It 100% can. I shot this match with my g3, from appendix, just like the way I carry the gun. My iron sights were $30 on eBay. My barrel is a Lakeline and it cost half the price of the gun lol.

I’m not saying this to toot my own horn. I’m saying all of this to show anyone interested that your gear will run and will do the job, as long as it’s reliable. Shoot the shot out of your Taurus
