I have 2023 xm plus variant

My altroz diesel is 2024 made 2025 registered xm plus s variant (old one). It has run 24500 kms and I am planning to go for a paid service. But the dealership is telling me that the fuel filter comes as a whole assembly which costs around 6500 alone. I mean can't they install just the filter part which costs less than 1000. Has anyone changed the same. Need suggestions what to do.

Hey i own a altroz pure s cng model purchased in nov 25 . My vehicle does not have extended warranty but thinking of purchasing one but not sure ... Any experience or suggestions whether warranty should be extended or standard warranty is enough. Also if anyone purchased recently what price did you pay ?

This week I have bought my tata altroz, when should I do an 1st service? Like 1000 km or 1 month or ??

Dear all altroz AMT owners do you all feel more noise from the engine/gearbox when cruising at 50- 70 kmph when the gearbox is still 4th 5th gear?

I tried putting gear in neutral at 70 kmph, in neutral the engine tone even with 2000rpm rev. At 70kmph is super silent, but as soon as the gear is engaged we can hear diesel engine like noise, complained multiple times to service center and they are saying it is normal, , I was so upset with tata that few months ago when I bought a car for father didn't even visit tata.

Anyone facing the same noise issue in 4th and 5th gear? It's like a constant lowpitch kirrrrrrrrrrrrr noise.

So I lost two of my wheel covers on highway because of potholes.

Can someone please help me finding the exact ones? I am also open to getting them if someone is upgrading theirs to alloys.

Any help is appreciated.

But i heard that they deleted some features from the 2025 model. Like creative had adjustable rear headrests, tweeters and rear armrest with cupholders. Is this true?

I’m planning to buy a Tata Altroz Pure Petrol (2026, manual) around November or December 2026.

I recently enquired at a Tata dealership and got an on-road quotation of around ₹8.80 lakh, with a current offer bringing it down to approximately ₹8.50 lakh.

I’m wondering whether I should:

• Buy now at around ₹8.50 lakh, or
• Wait until November/December 2026 for possible year-end discounts.

My concern is that if I wait, Tata might also increase the ex-showroom price, which could cancel out the year-end discount.

I’ve seen Tata announce price increases during 2026, so I’m not sure what to expect for the last two months of the year.

What would you do in this situation?

For people who bought Tata cars in previous years:

1. How much extra discount did you actually get in November/December?
2. Do Tata dealers usually give better discounts at the end of December?
3. Is there a realistic chance of another Tata price hike before December 2026?
4. Would waiting until December be worth it for an Altroz Pure Petrol, or is ₹8.50 lakh already a reasonable deal?

So basically after Lot research for EV and ICe cars,

I decided to go with sierra or 9s probably 9s and the variant which i want is expensive,

as of now , there is no money problem but as of now I don't want to invest so much on car rather than wait for my current project to succeed (new unit). So thinking to get altroz diesel for now

and eventually by 9s in next 7-8 month and then I'll sell my ciaz (10kmpl mileage) or replace as daily drive.

Question:

I am planning to get a diesel, confused between which one to go with diesel or cng, just because of dpf issue, i am confused does altroz have adblue thing , can u tell ? As much i have listen 1500cc doesn't need it ?

Also Don't like pickup of cng so can u tell what to do. And how to tackle it

I am planning to buy an Altroz diesel, but there is not a single car available for a test drive in Delhi NCR. If someone has had the chance to drive it, where can I find one in Delhi NCR?

So i have bought an altroz diesel from cars24 at 36k km (scammers) back in january this year. Well i am at mistake too, I trusted them a bit toooo muchhhh. Uk these people have this policy called 30 day return.1) So what basically happened is I took the car for the very first long drive to kannur the car started overheat. Advisor quoted me 10k for water pump replacement. 2) In july like everyday i was going to my institute it had no problem until i parked the car. In the evening when i tried to car it was not even cranking. Mechanics from tata came they checked they said they have to tow to the service centre so basically 4k gone there itself then gave a quote of 7k for starter replacement. 3) In august I didn’t use the car for 2-3 weeks since i was in bangalore. When i came back the car went into limp mode and started to overheat again. This time they said temperature sensor was the culprit. Again 4k something gone there. And just after 1 week of repairing the car again overheating. This time the service people said they can’t find the cause. I took it to a local workshop nearby. They said it’s overheating because the gasket is damaged😭😭😭 tbh idk what should I do. I bought the car for almost 8 8.5 lakhs. Any suggestions?

This is what rats have done to our altroz engine bay🥲, they had cut the injector connecting wires twice and damaged fuel supply hose twice.

And rats poop every now and then it so hard to clean that.

Why can't tata provide a cover on top of the engine?(Idk about the newer version).

The engine bay is completely open from the bottom, rats and cats can easily get inside the engine bay.

I've used 3M rat spray and it only lasts for a week, ig I need to spray it every week.

Local mechanic had tied tobacco leaves, it only worked for few days.

Is there a permanent solution?

Has anyone installed rat mesh or something, if yes guide me😭

Wanted a totaled/total loss altroz racer if anyone knows where such cars go like any particular scrapyard or anywhere in particular place like recycling yard or any place if anyone could give me the source or link me to such scrapyards or who deals in such stuff help me out...

I'm experiencing a weird issue with my car's infotainment system and wanted to check if anyone else has faced something similar.

The issue is that the music volume increases as the vehicle speed increases, even though the volume level shown on the infotainment screen remains unchanged.

For example:

• Volume is set to 7
• Below around 40 to 50 km/h, the music plays at the expected volume
• When I accelerate beyond that speed, the actual music volume gradually increases
• The infotainment still shows 7, but the sound becomes noticeably louder, roughly equivalent to volume 9 or 10
• When I slow down, the volume comes back down again

So the strange part is that the volume number on the screen doesn't change at all. Only the actual audio output changes based on the vehicle's speed.

I'm wondering if this could be related to a speed-dependent volume compensation feature, or if it could be an infotainment firmware bug.

Has anyone experienced something similar? Also, does anyone know if there is a firmware update available for the infotainment system that might address this issue?
