I figured out reversing polarity so I decided to test Tame Impala songs and found Dracula (JENNIE Remix) is the best acapella so far, keep on lying is pretty good too

Screenshot from Spotify just now. I'm ecstatic that the score is composed by Justice and features Tame Impala on 'Flower in a Hurricane'

I can’t find any information on if credit was given to Dire Straits or anything, but it seems like just a different version of Money for Nothing?

Hi all, I’ll be at the Melb show tomorrow night and I wanna be right up close to the B stage. Roughly how many people were lining up for GA before doors opened and what time would you recommend I join?

So I wake up and begin my morning Reddit scroll as usual and see that TAME FUCKING IMPALA AND KING GIZZARD ARE GOING TO BE IN GTA 6. I WAS NOT EXPECTING THIS AT ALL!
I’m literally pinching myself to make sure I’m not dreaming because holy shit, a Tame Impala, Justice, and King Gizzard collab being featured in GTA 6? My favorite indie artists, in the biggest game of all time? How is this possible?
Rockstar Games, damn man. I was excited for this game but y’all made me STOKED now. You guys have really cooked with the soundtrack so far.
And to all of you fellow Tame and Gizz heads, take pride that we are going to be featured in the biggest media release of all time. Not many are able to experience this shit.
What a fucking time to be alive man. I hope we get a radio station dedicated to psych rock and we get Pond, GUM, MEC in the game as well.
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Saw Tame Impala tonight, and for the 3rd or 4th? Time in the last few years, I’ve walked away from a concert genuinely baffled by the behaviour of some of the younger crowd.
I’m not exaggerating when I say the girl next to me spent probably 80–90% of the show filming on multiple phones. The girls in front of me stood up for one song, then sat down for the rest. Others seemed to spend the entire night recording, and what I found even more bizarre was watching people scroll back through the footage they’d just taken while the concert was still happening.
I understand wanting to capture a few moments. We all do it. But at what point does documenting an experience become more important than actually experiencing it?
I don’t want to turn into the bloke who complains about the younger generation, but there’s something genuinely depressing about watching an entire concert through a sea of phone screens while the people holding them barely seem engaged with what’s happening right in front of them.
I can’t help wondering what constant social media consumption is doing to people’s attention spans. We’re already having serious conversations about declining educational outcomes and the ability of younger generations to concentrate. I’m not suggesting filming a concert explains any of that, but surely there’s a broader conversation to be had about our increasingly compulsive need to document everything rather than simply be present.
Maybe I’m just getting old, but it’s a pretty strange thing to witness. 7th tame concert.

If anyone was at the 15/10 show at Rod Laver and has a video of him wishing me happy birthday, I would absolutely love to a copy of it 🥹🩷

We need this ASAP. That would be a sonic masterpiece, no? Plus, EOTS are Australian as well, I’m surprised they haven’t crossed pathes yet.
I’m totally for KP expanding himself and exploring new types of sounds, but there’s a part of me that misses that Innerspeaker/Lonerism sound. I feel like that era of KP with EOTS would be so cool.

I'm really curious to hear your hot takes—they can be about anything, as long as they're about Tame Impala, of course. The crazier your take, the better.
My hot take:
“Not My World” is the WORST song of his career—the only song from his five studio albums that I never listen to.

Genuinely can't recommend them enough. Cost me like $12 online and the difference it made last night was insane! The lights looked even more intense and incredible - very much the trippy atmosphere that Kevin's music lends itself to.
(This is just me holding the lens over the phone camera - it's definitely better if you're wearing them!)
Has anyone else tried them?
