I don’t know what episode of AHS it is but it’s the bubbee character when it’s a flashback she is in a show acting and kills her husband on Christmas has to comfort the child then gets attacked by a axe wielding Santa.

My favorite TFTC episode: Showdown [Spoilers]

I watched my friends reaction to this episode online and it became my favorite episode. Normally there is so much humour and much deserved karma, but I felt this one was serious and had such a positive and beautifully done ending.

When Billy learns that he is dead, and is surrounded by his victims he appears to have some remorse. The spirits could have fucked with him for as long as they wanted and played the meanest games but rather than seeking bitter revenge or condemning him, the spirits in the saloon accept him and he reconciles with his fate. Then they ride off TOGETHER into the sunset on horseback. It was so hopeful, despite them being dead, that peace was found. Perhaps even forgiveness. It's like they became a family.

What's your favorite episode?

I will gladly watch with commercials for free. Time for restroom breaks, kitchen runs. Also the commercials are a few minutes at most.

Better than paying for Shudder which as a horror app- is mostly junk.

Text Anyone else feel bad for Jonas, and feel Anita was the real villain?

I get that his wife was neglected from him working all the time. I'm a workaholic myself. But filling his house with animals is absolutely bizarre. There have got to be other widows or ladies in the neighborhood for her to befriend. The man was already upset having to adjust to being retired and no longer being able to serve a purpose to society. But having to live with his house infested with animals, and not being able to take a proper shower would definitely drive a person insane. And then worst of all, she named the bulldog Jonas as if he were being replaced. It's no wonder the man went nuts, and made trophies out of the animals.

My version of a mid-life crisis manifested as a journey toward acquiring the full EC precode horror/scifi catalog. I'm well on my way. But a long way to go.

Comes The Dawn

From Season 6. A very underrated and overlooked episode IMO, and easily among the better of the sixth season. Good atmosphere, with the arctic setting that reminds me a great deal of The Thing, which has long been a favorite of mine. Some good creature effects and when you've got Michael Ironside and Bruce Payne together as the leads, you know it's got to be good. I still get a kick out of how they were both Highlander series villains along with Clancy Brown (Half-Way Horrible). A great episode that definitely deserves much more recognition and it feels like it could've easily been part of the earlier seasons. Season 6 is a very hit and miss season but has some real diamonds in the rough and this is surely one.

Why don't they bring CK back to life with CGI?

If you think about it, CGI technology has become so advanced that we can render pretty much anything. Why didn't they do that instead of building a new puppet? No new puppet will *ever* live up to the lightning in a bottle that Yagher built, so any new puppet will disappoint the audience. But with CGI, you could even use all the old footage of the original puppet for motion tracking to give it a familiar feel. If they insist on keeping CK alive, I don't see why they don't do that.

From Season 4. I remember catching this episode when it aired on HBO way back in 1992, and it definitely holds much nostalgia for me. A very good episode, with a completely contemptible and loathesome antagonist with Helen and a very gruesome, disturbing ending. I find this episode is among the most disturbing of the series and genuinely leaves you feeling very uncomfortable after having watched it. One thing about it that stands out is that it feels like something that could really happen in real-life, unlike typical EC fare like zombies, vampires, werewolves, ghouls, etc. which although entertaining and a trademark of EC Horror ultimately isn't realistic, unlike the scenario depicted in this story.

The entire concept of an autopsy pageant is incredibly gruesome and disturbing, and seems like something that could really happen and probably occurs in dark corners of the world. Especially with the likes of the dark web where co-ordinating such a sick event would likely be done.
