Забон Looking for a Tajik language exchange friend 🇹🇯

Hello everyone! I have a huge interest and deep love for Tajikistan and its food, culture, nature, landscapes, people, music and beautiful language.

I even finally visited Tajikistan this spring and I had an absolutely wonderful time and felt very safe and comfortable. I would return in a heartbeat and I’m considering the possibility of moving there in the future.

I’ve also been trying to learn the beautiful Tajik language, however I haven’t been very successful as there aren’t many resources or people I can practice with as there are with the “commercial languages” (French, German, Spanish, etc…) as I like to call them.

So, I was wondering if anybody here would like to help me out and practice with me by audio/video calls. I don’t mind texting, however I don’t really find it effective for my speaking skills. And I could of course help out with English or anything else in return. Is anyone interested? 😁

Hello mate. I'm from the Khujand, North Tajikistan. It would be nice to know you. Even tho I'm busy most of the time, I think I would still be able to find some time for conversation. Just DM me, so we could exchange our contacts.

There is also Hello Talk but I find most people are either Bots or Larpers.

There is no language called "Tajik"; the language they speak is Persian, and Persian has a specific dialect known as Tajik.

The Persian spoken in Iran and Tajikistan differs only very slightly; therefore, by speaking with any Persian speaker, you will learn the language of the people of Tajikistan.

Do you call people "bro" when they tell you a truth?

The only advice you should go with it is this guy guideline 100% correct because if you want to learn tajiki there is nothing standardized to learn from it no books no dictionary just learn Persian and that’s enough  But for writing and reading you only need two hours practicing cyrilic letters because they are so similar to English. And also in Tajikistan if you speak pure Persian they respect you much more because they believe there language is not pure and Russian language has influenced too much.
