Research A few sentences and their translation from the manuscript Phvn Ko Mvng
The Tai-Ahom Manuscript "Phvn Ko Mvng" roughly translates to "History Build World". It is our very own version of a religious "Creation of world" scripture. Here I have posted the first three lines from the translation of the manuscript done by Prof. Stephen Morey and published in the DOBES archives.

Literature Indian national anthem, Jana Gana Mana written in the Ahom script.
Pronunciation: Jana Gana Mana Adhināyaka Jaya Hai, Bhārata Bhāgya Bidhātā. Panjāba Sindhu Gujarāta Marāthā Drābida Utkala Banga. Bindhya Himāchala Yamunā Gangā, Uchchal Jaladhi Taranga. Taba Subha Nāme Jāge, Taba Subha Āsis Māge, Gāhe Taba Jaya Gāthā. Jana Gana Mangala Dāyaka Jaya Hai, Bhārata Bhāgya Bidhātā. Jaya Hai, Jaya Hai, Jaya Hai, Jaya Jaya Jaya Jaya Hai!
Notes: As Ahom doesn't have separate letters for the sounds 'ya' and 'ja', the same letter is used here for both sounds. The same applies for the sounds 'ba' and 'ya'. Ahom also doesn't contain any letter for the sound 'sha', so the letter for the sound 'sa' is used here.

Question Is there a specific way to denote tones in the romanisation of Tai-Ahom?
Looking at the romanisations of words I haven't really noticed tones being represented in them. Is there a way to represent them, and if there isn't what problems does it create or what work-arounds are present?

Question Has the Tai-Ahom language influenced sound changes in Assamese?
This one is kinda wild lol but since the Ahoms have had a large presence and Assamese has already borrowed words form the language, is it possible that the language has influenced the sound changes happening in certain dialects of Assamese? If so, any examples?

Question Why are there really only primers of the Tai-Ahom language in Assamese?
This is might be a stupid question but why is it so, since English has been spoken widely in the valley since British times and the internet has also existed for quite a while too

Finally found a good sub reddit.
Hello guys, a fellow language enthusiast here. As a Tai-Ahom myself, I have been learning the language and script for almost a year now. I was running solo on this... LOL... without any help from anyone. But then I started reading reddit posts... and my god... haven't seen anything toxic than those script kiddies calling themselves "TRUE AHOMS" based on their skin tone... completely ignoring the genetics of admixtures. At some point a few of these script kiddies invented a new form of Tai-Ahom script using tonal markings they took from Shan script. They even invented a new Tai-Ahom language full of Shan linguistic features to fit their narrative. Spreading so much toxicity... It was simply unbearable. But despite that, I strictly followed the original OG script and improved my understanding of our beautiful language. So, after so many months finally finding a sub-reddit dedicated to learn the script and language the way it is... feels really amazing. Always feels good to meet like minded people.
