My my my what the hell did i miss in 2008...im playing some of my backlog games and finally got to this one...loving it so far the battle system micromanagemnt of the dual screen and puck bounce between shiki and neku keeps you on your toes! At first the battle system is confusing and you gotta battle to learn, but when you read and master your stylus swipes and button combo for the little card game for shiki the rewards are there!....any other action jrpg like this after i beat TWEWY on DS or 3ds? I know im gonna have to play the sequel too!

Years after years of searching for the US Version of TWEWY DS in my country, finally got one in my hand today and with quite reasonable prices of only around $35. My life is complete.

I was wondering if any of you already bought the new GOG build, and if so, do you happen to know if it is essentially the same thing as the Steam and Epic one? the main thing I wanted to know is if extracting and injecting assets would be any easier? I know in switch it is not any hard, is it like that here? or are they still encrypted?

So back in 2021, a week before NEO: The World Ends With came out, I "100%" the NDS version of TWEWY. I did everything but get God Rank. By the time I did everything, I was about 110 hours of active playtime. Since the NDS version made us evolve pins through mingle points, I had to leave my game on in mingle mode. I left my DS on throughout the night and while I was working to get mingle points. Including that, it's about 750ish hours total.

After all that time, I was only at 3571 esper points. I know the strategy to get more was to go to another day, go to shibuya river, set the difficulty on easy, and farm blue frogs. Problem is, it's still very time consuming. I put 3.5 hours farming 10k yen coins, then purchasing 10k yen pins, selling those same pins, then repeat.

After 3.5 hours, I just manage to a total of 5000 esper points. Is there a faster strategy or something I could do to be more efficient? I can sell the 10k yen coins in bulk, but not the new pins I bought for 10k each. The reason I'm buying those 10k pins is because each 10k purchase gets you 1 esper point, and I can sell each of them back for 1k. So after buying 100 pins, I can sell them and buy another 10. So 100 pins can get me 110 esper points.

One big problem besides the fact I can't sell unmastered pins in bulk, is that I can run into blue frogs only. The shibuya river has all sorts of frogs.

Is there any way I can speed up this process?

I've seen some mods for the game, like the Neo+, but haven't found the one I want.

Is there any mod that let you play with all characters after you beat the game?

I don't want to say the number because of spoilers (If that's still a thing after five years) but after you beat the game you have to choose one character to sit on the bench.

Hi there! I’m working on making a high-quality archival rip of soundtrack CD for The World Ends with You, and I’d like to include accurate transcriptions from the original booklet.

I’m looking for someone who can read Japanese and transcribe the Japanese text from the booklet scans into plain text (Unicode). I can read English, but unfortunately I cannot read Japanese or type Japanese characters myself, so I’m not able to accurately transcribe the text from the scans.

I’m not looking for a translation. I specifically need the original Japanese characters as they appear in the booklet. For archival purposes, it would be great if you could:
- Preserve the original Japanese wording exactly rather than translating or paraphrasing it.

- Keep the sections/track divisions reasonably clear so I can tell which text belongs where.

-If a character or word is genuinely unclear in the scan, please mark it as uncertain rather than guessing.

- Plain text is perfect; I don’t need special formatting.

Even if you only have time to transcribe some of the pages, that would be greatly appreciated. I’d be happy to credit anyone who provides the best transcription. Let me know whether you’d like to be credited as a transcriber and I can have that included in the folder for this rip that I intend to share when I complete it.

I’ve been playing The World Ends With You: Final Remix for the first time recently and have been enjoying it very much. I’ve appreciated Nomura’s character designs for some time, and something about twewy’s style has made want to pick up drawing again (something I haven’t done since my middle school years). Anyway, I just want to say I’ve been loving this experience, and wanted to share something with others who also really enjoy it.

Just got back from my second session and I’m on cloud nine right now.

I decided to knock this major dream project out over two consecutive weekends. Last week was dedicated entirely to the calf, and today we went all-in on the thigh to connect everything. It was a serious test of endurance, but the outcome is just unreal. 🥰

I’m so hyped about how this turned out that I just had to share it with you all.

Guess I should try NEO TWEWY.

I am not a person who likes to spend money on games I do not need to spend money on, and I have the ability currently to play the original TWEWY on the DS. Through some searching I've found this is the better choice, as it has a significantly better gameplay setup. My one issue is that I do wanna play the sequel, and I wanna know weather the switch version is okay enough to be worth the purchase just for said epilogue. Is the story content fantastic and gameplay quality significantly higher, or will I get by with a long play. If you don't consider the epilogue a prerequisite for the sequel this would also be something I'd wanna hear just for the piece of mind that I can go from one game on original hardware to another.
