Glenn’s survivability chances Spoiler
Okay this is a stretch. Hypothetically, let’s say Negan decides to land the first blow to Glenn and stop there for whatever reason.
Do you all think it would have been possible for Glenn to survive that kind of head trauma. If we look at the scene after the first hit, there’s obvious facial damage around his left eye, fore head, and skull. Not sure how deep you all would gauge the crack in the skull, but I’ve definitely seen deeper in a T1 hospital. Again, on the assumption they take him and Maggie to Hilltop, do you think he makes a recovery, if any?
I’m not making an argument for either or, just want to hear some opinions. What do you guys think?

My first attempt at an edit for any show had to be TWD

What character storyline would you have given to someone else?
I'll use Beth.
The idea of her having a sibling bond with Glenn, He and Maggie work to guide her.. essentially ahe fullfills a role similar to Sophia in the comics and Enid in the show. Wrestling with her new dark side after her hospital experience trying to be strong.
She takes Sasha's death... the idea of her being the one to give her life for others after being criticized for trying to take it seasons earlier? Full circle.
She takes Carl's death... Like her father before her Beth could be a moral compass for the others. She's tried to support Maggie and Daryl's grief. Maybe Negan took an interest and messed with her a little bit to upset Daryl. She saves someone and gets infected using her dying breath to reiterate peace over evil.
She takes one of Rosita's deaths. If she couldn't live happily ever after... I would want her to make it to the end sustaining a bite and dying peacefully.
Either scenario she could have a moment with everyone. Maybe Daryl tells her she was more than another dead girl.
Knowing the show... they'd probably let her romance someone long enough to become pregnant and get the pike!
Who would you guys choose?

Daryl Dixon crossbow he used in season 3-5 and 8
I have one of the Stryker strike zone 380 in full optifade camo! The exact same one he used In the show (not the one used in filming it’s the same product). The camo and crossbow is not even made anymore so it’s rare. It’s sick, although sadly I’m getting rid of it. Dm me any questions! I’ll upload a photo in replies.

Am I too vanilla for the show?
I’m the type of person who always loves character building and I always get shut down immediately when bring up the idea of characters getting childhood back stories so we understand their character bit more like next season Daryl Dixon, we’re supposed to be getting a backstory to his childhood which I’ve been wanting for so long ever since we started getting little bits and pieces about who his father really was and I want that for every character and that’s been my biggest flaw in the character writing whenever I make a comic or think about a TV show is that I wanna build the character up before putting them into a team up film
And for The Walking Dead, I want to get some backstory on some characters childhood, but like I said people always shut the idea down even though I think it would be a cool idea cause I always think that more character development and like character backstory is good for a show and it will get you more in tuned with the character
I don’t know what do you guys think?

The fact that Pete steals Michonne's katana to go after Rick proves he subconsciously admits he can't defeat him in a fair hand-to-hand fight
Think about it. Pete is a textbook bully who is used to throwing his weight around because he's a protected doctor. Deanna knew about the abuse but ignored it because the community "needed" a surgeon, which completely bloated Pete's ego.
When they finally throw hands, the only reason Pete lands any initial hits is because Rick is actively holding back. Rick intentionally lets the fight spill out into the open to force the Alexandrians to see Pete's unhinged violence with their own eyes.
What makes it even crazier is the massive physical difference. Pete is 6'4" and towering, while Rick is 5'10". Yet, despite Pete using his size advantage to pin Rick against the wall, Rick’s raw survival instincts and leverage take over. He completely breaks the hold and hurls Pete right through the living room window.
But the absolute peak of Rick's tactical dominance happens out in the street. At one point, Pete manages to flip Rick over. Rick let this happen on purpose. Think about it: if Rick just stayed on top and kept beating Pete down, the town would see Rick as the unhinged aggressor. Rick purposefully lets Pete think he has the upper hand so Pete will incriminate himself. The exact second Pete lashes out and strikes Jessie as she tries to intervene, Rick instantly flips Pete back over and locks him in a chokehold. That timing is too perfect to be a coincidence. Rick was playing chess while Pete was playing checkers.
The bottom line is this: Pete was fighting with absolutely everything he had, fueled by pure rage and size. Rick was actively pulling punches and manipulating the fight to expose him. And even with those massive handicaps, Pete still couldn't defeat him.
Fast forward to the town meeting. The fact that Pete resorts to stealing Michonne's katana in an attempt to kill Rick completely confirms his cowardice. His ego was so shattered by being physically dominated and outsmarted by a smaller man who wasn't even trying his hardest that he knew he stood zero chance in a fair rematch. He subconsciously admitted he was powerless against Rick man-to-man, so he needed a deadly weapon just to feel big again.
But the ultimate irony? Even with the ultimate weapon, Pete still fails to get to Rick. He is so sloppy, terrified, and undisciplined that he panics and accidentally slits the throat of Reg—the one guy trying to calm him down. It proves a weapon doesn't make you a survivor. He couldn't beat Rick in a fistfight, and he couldn't even manage a sneak attack with a sword without completely fumbling.
