I honestly think this would have been a more fun and interesting end of the story. Elise and Juliane had so many moments together where they care for each other deeply, like when Juliane or Elise were sick and had fever. Also, Juliane admires Elise because of all her attention and her medical knowledge, and Elise likes Juliane in return especially for her kindness and strength.

Furthermore, they were competing about Prince Linden and thus already had some history together. This way they could have had an amazing enemies / rivals to lovers story.

I really hope that there is a fanfiction of this scenario. What do you think? Should Elise and Juliane have been a couple?

How come the episode haven't been released on crunchyroll? Also does anyone know how many episodes will the anime air ? Is it worth it to read the manga instead?

yes
