so Cas says that he is not only cut off from heaven's power, but that he is also limited in his abilities when Bobby asked(demanded) Cas heal him... my thing is, why didn't he just TRY? Like, im sure cas knows what his limitations are, but id have still at least tried for arguments sake..

Ok, so I had for the first time finished watching the complete Supernatural show last year after having watched it till Amora gave Dean a gift before leaving with Chuck.
Now I was thinking of rewatching season 1-7 but then The Winchesters got shown to me and I had just looked into what it is about.

And I must admit, I hate the concept behind it. First of all it doesn't make sense on why John and Mary would do that as John didn't know of the Supernatural till Marys death and Mary wanted out of the supernatural.
I read a bit on it and found out that this is an alternate universe which Dean was somehow able to influence even though he is just a human in heaven and not even an angel or does have any powers.

Based on the description I read this seems more like a fanfiction Dean wrote where his dad and mom get together on their own instead of being forced together by a cupid and has them live off as hunters instead of trying to have a normal life.
Is this suspicion right and wrong?

What do you say, is the show worth the watch or should i just rewatch the best seasons of the show?
I mean, if they had to create a spinoff, why not create the Bobby & Rufus spinoff people were asking about or maybe create a Man of Letters show or a show where with each season you are spending in a another continent/culture and get regional monsters and hunters instead of being a hotpot of all monsters and supernatural beings like USA was. I mean the two later shows could have shown us a side of the world we didn't get to truly see by either just using more soul magic which kinda got abandoned after Henries death. Or see what the monsters are truly like when home with their own at their strongest while the hunters also know about them. And with the show where we get each season in another culture we would be able to see something which was kinda impossible in USA, hunters organizations since they wouldn't have to worry about some new kind of monsters appearing which they know nothing about like with USA due to many different monsters and supernatural beings travelling to the "New World"

And my first thought was

That kinda looks like the Men of Letters logo

It's not like the monster of the week style changes/decreases in quality or the ratings drop off. The only major issue I've had is that I think sam acted out of character in the season 8 finale and I'm not a huge fan of the British men of letters but otherwise the show stayed great. Where did this criticism I see all over tiktok come from?

you'd expect an episode like that to be a tough case

The hunters should have created a law firm/organization to help victims of monsters. All the people whose lives were destroyed from being possessed, under the influence or framed by monsters. In addition, the law firm could have been used to help hunters out of legal trouble. For example, it would have been interesting if a bunch of lawyers from this organization showed up in an earlier season when Sam and Dean were busted by the law. It wouldn't be hard to do, as I am sure there are a lot of lawyers that were saved by hunters that would be grateful for their work and possibly wish to repay the favor.

Looked for a post about it on Reddit and was surprised not to find one! It was pretty crazy how many were in this movie

From the outside: Locked door? - pick the lock/break the door/smash a window.

From the inside: Locked door: giggle the handle, light shove on the door, slow turn in a circle looking for another way out. 'There's no way out, Sammy. Let's go down fighting.'

Like, the windows are still glass, the doors are still wooden and on hinges. I know it's show logic, but it just gets me every time and I have to laugh.

One thing I do not understand about Revelations, and the demons/monsters wanting an apocalypse. If they kill everyone, there is no food for Vampires, no more meat suits, demonic resources are lacking, and there would be no one left to “torture” for fun.

So perhaps my understanding lacks, and demons just want free range of earth, getting rid of angels and humans frees them. It just seems counterintuitive.

Can anyone make it “make sense”?

I am watching the Alastair torture scene, and it is one of my favourite episodes, because Alastair is a fun villain. Wonders about his comment of the apocalypse, and his works to poke fun at Dean, made me wonder.
