Question about cape sundews and carnivores plants.

Ok so I want to try and grow a cape sundew but I don't want it dying because everytime Ive tried Venus flytraps they always die and I had a cape sundew once and it died. Well I've wanted to try and grow carnivores plants again just not Venus flytraps for awhile but anyways I want to grow a cape sundew but well I live with my grandma and it gets drafty in her house in the fall idk how it's going to be in the winter. Which is why I'm thinking of getting a plant heater I was also thinking of buying a humidifier and a grow light before I got it and I do have a terrarium I just don't know if the sundew will fit is the thing any ideas or suggestions on what I could do or try for growing a sundew because I really want to grow a carnivores plant without it dying.

A lot of die-off. New growth looks ok. I think it caught some overspray from my foliar fertilizer for my VFT’s… thoughts?

anyone know what this is or why its growing? first pic is when i noticed it, second pics today. it started growing a lil higher up but i had to prune and repot the plant so the nub ended up closer to the soil and has recently decided to go straight down into it.

I'm new to owning sundew. I've had success with pings so I purchased one from a local reptile expo some time ago and it's just not doing well anymore... I believe I just need to keep it outside in the sun. Is there anything I can do to help it thrive in my bedroom?

How common is this and how do I separate it and propagate it as its own plant? My drosera capensis cape sundew flowers grew a baby sundew on this one that I separated from the mother plant. The mother plant did the same thing at one time but then once flower stem died the baby did as well.
