Rant Unrealistic expectations
So basically I am to apply to the Netherlands and I’ve begun my applications
And my parents say that for the first year they will support me entirely- so that includes rent, tuition and such
And the second year they are convinced they can support half of my tuition
But on the third year I’m- “on my own.”
I’ve been thinking about how realistic this is- I do tuitions for kids and I’ll have that once I go there too but the income from that would be around 145 euros per month 💀
And then if I were to get a job and the minimum would be 350 euros, and if I had to save that amount- I’d only have 4200 euros entirely
The more I type this out the more I realize how unrealistic it would be that I pay off my third year, because if I have to pay half of my second- and even if I start my job in the first I would not have enough.
I don’t know what to do because my home country is out of the question entirely. And the country I’m residing in is already worth a kidney- I suppose I chose the “next best option.”
I guess I just wanted to dream of a possibility in a EU country 🥲🥲.
