Well, I was walking along and found a little sparkly stone. Based on my tests, it’s a cubic zirconia of about 3 carats. I know it’s essentially worthless—I mean, is it actually good for anything other than scratching glass?

started sleeping with a small stone under my pillow a couple weeks ago. my rest feels deeper and waking up is smoother. i've been measuring it with my usual setup and the numbers look better. has anyone else tried this or noticed similar effects?

I found this on the Black Sea coast. Could something be changing the structure of the rocks this way? Some mollusks like to gnaw through rocks, leaving round holes, but what is this? Or could it be a special way of crystal growth?
