Does steamos report system ram usage wrong on custom builds?

Surely this can't be right I was playing 007 at high settings 1440p on a 9060XT my system has 32gb of system memory and it was reporting only 8.6gb ram usage. On bazzite the same game reported 13gb usage and on my legion go s it reports 10gb system ram usage.

Thats a great questions. I do remember LTT did a video a while back on this. And I do think steamos was using less ram. But not that much.

It's definitely reporting wrong, I just updated to main branch and it's working correctly now showing 12gb system ram
