I've been seeing these all over steamgriddb (especially with retro games). I found the link to the square versions pretty easily, but I can't seem to find these rectangular versions. Would love to make my own grids using these. any help would be much appreciated!

After hours of searching and customizing I feel worried that it'd all be gone by accident, so any way to save them ?

Just the steamgridb.com that’s listed at the top of Google search? Is that ok?

Hello! Im not sure if this is the right flair to use but I was wondering if anyone has made a tutorial or would be willing to explain how to make the VHS style covers? I don't use photoshop but do use other editing. All of mine have come out looking really bad and I was hoping to get an idea how other people make theirs because im a little lost with it.
Many thanks in advance! <3

Hi, so I just completed a game called A Legionary's Life, and there is no artwork for the game. Any art would be helpful

This needs to be said plainly: SteamGridDB is currently allowing NSFW grids that depict characters who are minors (or very clearly intended to be minors), and that is completely unacceptable. This isn’t a gray area, and it’s not just “people being sensitive.” There are real legal and platform risks here that are being ignored. Under U.S. law (18 U.S.C. § 1466A), obscene visual depictions of minors including drawings, renders, and digital art can be illegal to distribute or host. It does not matter if the character is fictional. If the content is explicit and depicts a minor, it can cross into criminal territory. Obscenity is not protected speech. So let’s be clear: Hosting and distributing this kind of content is not just a “community preference issue.” It’s a liability. And even if you want to ignore the legal angle, the ethical side is just as bad. This is a mainstream platform used by thousands of people to customize their libraries. Allowing sexualized depictions of underage characters drags the entire community down and makes the platform look complicit. What makes this worse is that this content isn’t hard to identify. A lot of it is obvious. Characters from well-known games who are canonically underage, or designed to look like children, being turned into NSFW grids and somehow staying up. That points to one of two problems: Either the rules are too vague Or moderation is too weak (or both) This needs to change immediately: A zero-tolerance ban on NSFW grids involving minors or minor-coded characters. Clear, explicit rules that remove any “fictional loophole” excuses Active moderation instead of relying on reports after the fact Because right now, the message being sent is that this is allowed and that’s not something any platform should be okay with. This isn’t about censorship or overreaction. It’s about drawing a line where it obviously should have already been drawn. Fix it.

This took an embarrassingly long time to figure out how to make, and even so I couldn't figure out how to properly center anything properly. It's the best I could do rn, so here it is in case any of you end up in this niche a situation like me
lmk if wrong sub. seemed like the best fit

Months ago, I requested a page on SteamGridDB for this PC abandonware game, and a week after it got approved, I found out that the site will remove game pages that do not have any assets uploaded. I want to try again, but I lack the skills to put something decent together myself so I'm reaching out here in the hopes someone may be willing to help. I have provided examples of cover art for the game that I would love to see grids/heros/logos made from.

I hope you'll forgive the low quality, but this game is VERY obscure, so higher-res versions are hard to come by. A 2:3 vertical grid, 92:43 horizontal grid, hero, and logo would be very appreciated!

Hey everyone! 👋
I've been working on a personal project to make my steam library look a lot cleaner and consistent. Today, I've finally decided to make it open-source and share it with the community.
Introducing Steam Poster Factory! 🎮✨
It’s an automated Python tool that generates high-quality, custom video game posters. The best part? You don't need to install Python or anything on your PC. It runs entirely in your browser using Google Colab.
🔥 Key Features:
page_bg_raw) or official grids so you never get a blank result.🛠️ How to use it: It's plug-and-play. Just download the RESOURCES.zip from the repo, upload it to your Google Drive, paste your SteamGridDB API key, and click run!
🤖 A quick PSA / Full Disclosure: I am not a programmer! I had a strong vision for the design and how the tool should work, but I built this entirely with the help of AI to write the actual Python code. It works perfectly for my needs, but the code under the hood might be a bit messy to a trained eye. If any actual developers want to fork it, clean it up, or add new features, please go right ahead! I'm just a gamer who wanted pretty covers and figured out a way to make it happen.
🔗 Check out the code and instructions here: https://github.com/sakt1moko/Steam-Poster-Factory
I would absolutely love to hear your feedback. Since it's open-source, any contributions, bug fixes, or ideas for new layout styles are super welcome.
Let me know what you think! 🍻

Can someone please help me find a really cool wolfenstein set for all the games on steam?

Hey everyone! I’ve been working on a Google Colab that, by simply giving it a game title, automatically creates these custom grid images for my Steam library.
It doesn’t use generative AI — it’s just a bit of code that gathers information and lays it out in a specific design. I’m not a programmer, I mostly relied on Gemini to help me generate and refine the code.
Also, some of the designs are inspired by other artists’ work on the platform, so shoutout to them!

I made a simple question to the admins the 8th of december, and every 2 weeks or so have politely asked "have you been able to look into this?"
they never answered, and instead permanently muted me.
Why are the admins so rude? I simply don't get it. If they had answered my simple question I would've never asked again OBVIOUSLY.
