Color me interested. I have some other qualms with it, but streaming quality was one of the biggest disappointments

A couple things to note. There is not issue reaching 500Mbps if the codec allows it. I am consistently above 480Mbps with virtual desktop and wifi 6e router. The issue is the default steamvr codec is limited to 200Mbps. Even when setting steamvr to 350 it will not go above 200.
You will need the h264 and then verify it goes up to 500. If not, then it's not working.

Yeah, I should have an update soon that uses multiple decoder streams and should hit that better. Currently, it uses the one and that seems to be hitting the same limit that the built in nvenc does

Your post has been removed under Rule 11. Moderators may remove content that undermines subreddit quality, exists purely to mislead, spam, or bait engagement, or otherwise violates subreddit standards.
Specifically, your post has been removed for undermining subreddit quality. H.264 is not supported "experimentally" in Steam. If you can't be bothered to proofread your own AI-generated text, we can't reasonably expect you to be able to review your own code and make sure it's something that will be safe when people run it on their Frames.
