Tech Support But… Today’s October 14th

Not sure if I need to uninstall the game or something but it won’t launch on my Deck. I was looking forward to this all day too

EDIT: Excuse me, y’all. Haven’t pre-ordered or played anything launch day since the seventh gen days. Looking forward to playing in two hours!

I'm like 95% sure that's a quirk of how they choose to display the remaining time. The game is set to release at 12 am, which is less than 2 hours away, so they chose to display "approximately 1 hour" for this case. I wager it will switch to minutes remaining when it's under 1 hour

Yeah the deck store interface shows exactly how long is left: 1 hr 42 minutes

Yeah nah that's 1 hour, INCLUDING whatever minutes are left. When it gets down it'll say "under 1 hour" usually or a countdown for the final hour. It's always funny seeing this confuse the shit out of people. Really should just make it a regular count down.

I've never seen a countdown in the last hour. Says less than one hour all the way until release

I added that because I was misremembering. I remembered a countdown but that was only ever for how long steam sales have left
