Tech Support Help request for Power issues

To preface I haven't used my steamdeck in a few months, I checked it last night and it was at 11% battery, left it charging overnight and then it wouldn't boot, trying to boot with the current update for SteamOS failed 4 times so I went back to the previous version when it prompted, which did boot

the battery was then at 5% plugged in and still dropping, I've power cycled, put the battery into storage mode and it dropped to 2% so I powered off and I've left it plugged in, I'll leave it for a few hours but are there any suggestions if it still doesn't work

TY

Edit: power issue solved

tried 3 cables and it didn't work with that plug on an extension that I've used since I got my steamdeck, plugged into the wall and it seems to be working not gone up to 3% yet but not died, so its a win and im gonna say either the plug or part of the extension died TY
