I just play it if I have it free on there and try to remember not to buy it later on if steam has a sale

Like not play the free games? I only have been buying games on steam sales if I don’t own them on epic for free

That's what I said. Fuck Epic. I will not give them the satisfaction of falling for their ploys, even if it means just collecting their free games. Fuck em.

I also understand that technically taking their free games and giving nothing in return ever, hurts them more, but I don't care. I am not becoming a part of their ecosystem even as a free-only player.

Fuck. Epic.

Every account that gets created with Epic is another statistic to sell to investors. The only way to kill the company who is fighting to bring Exclusivisity to PC gaming is to not sign up en masse

As a man who was struggling for income in his youth I used to do this every Thursday, but this was also when Epic gave out really great deals for AAA titles I wanted. If I was in the same situation now I would rather go do some hard labor and buy a game off steam

There's an option on Steam where you can block a game from showing up. I use it for that this exact purpose.

I redeem free Epic games and then never play them because I'm not installing their client. We are not the same.
