At least the other villians were having fun during their part.

Dio was grinning every time he was cooking up any Joestar, that was really his specialty.

Kars was having fun playing his Lisa Lisa guitar and being the ultimate lifeform.

Kira was just chilling in the sun with his hand, dude was really living that quiet life.

Pucci was celebrating by listening to music and counting prime numbers.

Doppio was probably smiling a bunch of times, but I can only remember that Diavolo was just mean mugging everyone, it didn’t matter whether he won something or not. There was no joy in this dude. Even King Crimson is furious, and I can probably understand why. If I knew that my part didn’t heavily involve his majesty, Jotaro Kujo, I’d be pretty mad too.

"My dear, sweet Doppio" He definitely does. I like that he's so selfish and paranoid the only person whose "company" he actively enjoyed when we see him was his own defense alter.

When you think about it, Doppio being in the dark and actually being the one with lapses in memory when he isn't fronting helps him do his job as a defense alter even better!

The best way to protect Diavolo is to very genuinely not have anything to answer if questioned.

It's also fun seeing him do his job sometimes in spite of Diavolo. One of my favourite interactions between them will always be Doppio losing his absolute shit and telling Diavolo to shut his goddamn trap because he's going to blow their cover.

More people need to consider Doppio being rude as shit with an awful temper when pushed. He's aggressive as hell.

I mean that's what happens when you have paranoid delusions. You don't have a good time because you think everyone is out to get you. And Diavolo actively had some meddling kids being mean to him and not letting him kill his own daughter!! Is that so much to ask? Jeez!

Also Doppio was honestly not smiling that much. He kind of smiles at the fortune teller because he thinks he's a hack, but the rest of the time he's either a nervous wreck or locked in and fucking people up and telling Diavolo to shut his trap, which is funny as hell.
