Hi,

Recently, I shifted from windows to Ubuntu Linux on my laptop but forgot to save the stardew valley mods folder. I didn't think it was a big deal since I could just download the mods back, however, when i was looking through the mods that me and my friend used to play with on co-op on SMAPI, I downloaded everything else but I just can't find the Grampleton Fields and Grandpa's Farm mods.

I even checked my Nexusmods' download history but can't find them, have they been deleted? Is it just because I'm on Linux? My SMAPI terminal also confirms that it can't find certian objects from the saved files related to Grandpa's farm and Grampleton fields. I'd really appreciate if anyone can help me out, or if they had a similar experience with these, or other mods. Thanks.

I'm having an issue with Stardew Valley Expanded and Rose's large cheese and mayonnase. The problem seems to be related to Marnie's 8heart event, which unlocks the "Cheese Wheel" recipe. Here's what happens: Old save: I had already unlocked the "Cheese Wheel" recipe from Marnie before installing Rose's mod. Because of this, I can't use large cheese to make 2 regular cheeses, the recipe is replaced by one that produces 2 Cheese Wheels instead. New save: before triggering Marnie's event, Rose's recipe works correctly and lets me turn large cheese into 2 regular cheeses. However, after triggering the event, the recipe changes to one that produces 2 Cheese Wheels instead. So it seems that SVE's Cheese Wheel recipe overrides Rose's recipe, and the behavior depends on whether Marnie's event has been triggered. Has anyone else encountered this issue? Is there a way to make both recipes work without one replacing the other? I'll attach the SMAPI logs from both saves below. Thanks in advance for any help!

Does anyone in here play modded stardew? I started my first mod and it’s the pokemon mod! I’m having a blast and was wondering if anyone else plays it. What are your favorite things about it so far? I’ve never played with another person either but I would be up to growing a farm with someone if they wanted to!

I’m by no means a new player to Stardew Valley in general. I owned the game since 2017 and I’ve been on and off for a couple of years playing it. I finished a vanilla run before Ginger Island then last year a modded run with 1.6 but the mods I used were more enhancement mods than anything that greatly change the vanilla gameplay.

Mods like cosmetics, time controls, more cutscenes and dialogue and so on. Nothing too crazy that can change the base experience.

Well one thing I haven’t tried, or rather actively avoided, was Expanded. I know it by reputation but have never attempted it once in all these years. I just feel so overwhelmed by it. Yet recently an unexplained itch has been bothering me to check it out and give it a try, but I’m not the type to jump in without knowing what I’m getting myself into.

So here’s my question as both a vanilla player and a light modder player: what can I expect from Stardew Valley Expanded? How is it any different than the vanilla gameplay? What are things I should be on the lookout for? What about other expansion mods like Ridgeside Village or East Scarp? How would those affect the game as well?

I’m looking for a completely new experience, Stardew 2 if you will and I was told this is the closest thing to it. I need tips, heads up, things to look out for and general advice. If you would be so kind to share anything useful with me before I begin installing it I would be so grateful. Thank you very much in advance!

HOW THE HELL DO YOU EVEN CATCH A SHARK

I consider myself good at the fishing but the shark is just so hard?? I need the shark or void salmon to complete movie theater bundle, and i considered just doing shark because well, getting to the void salmon is a fucking venture on its own so... now I don't know!

Hey this may sound dumb, but I got the mod to work and added a key using virtual keyboard to bring up the search menu, buy I can't type anything as my keyboard doesn't activate even if I tap the field?

So I just recently unlocked the Crimson Badlands and I'm SO NERVOUS BEING THERE even the music has to be so dramatic... Another one, though less, is the uhh witch's swamp? the whatever place you have to go through to get Wizard's magic ink. I was like 'Well fuck!' when I got in and saw that it is not all as simple as in the vanilla game to get that ink... Died one time, been putting it off after.

i know its a late game animal but its just a bit too good for the other animals especially comparing it to gooses ,, so why dont they be like pigs .. they still wont eat any hay or grass and would be compatible with the golden animal cracker but wont produce any honey in the winter just like the real bears sleep irl aka "hibernation"

I can’t seem to kill any shadow brutes and shamans? Saw somewhere that it’s because I already went through the krobus event. I need to kill the shadow brutes to finish a task from the ridgeside village mod. Is there any way to fix this?

It's a sunny day, and I've walked to the hiking trail, past 8pm, but it won't trigger. I'm really not sure what I'm doing wrong, or why it's not happening, so if anyone can let me know what I should do then that'd be very helpful

So I'm doing a Joja run for my first time, missed the first few Morris heart events bc I didn't know they had to be triggered in year 1 which is fine but now I can't get the 8 Heart event to trigger. I've looked everywhere but can't find anyone else having this issue? Fwiw the warehouse is complete but I can't figure out how to get the movie theatre

Today I found three aphophises in the Crimson Bandlands. Does anyone know why this happend? I restarted the day because I passed out trying to kill it. Could this be the reason?

I have a lot of mods including SVE, Ridgeside and East Scarp for expansions. I thought I was done the museum but apparently I have one more and I don't have a clue what this is. It appears first on the list before Emerald on the collections list.
