1. From third party sellers. I only set out to get the purple butterflies and the birds of prey, but I'm happy with my haul!

2. From USPS in person and website. Online, they sell a sampler pack of some of this years releases. It's supposed to be random from all the releases, but I think the packs are biased towards the ones from earlier in the year. I'm glad to get the Ali and Lee stamps, though. :)

3. One of the sellers used some of their custom stamps, though it's not clear if these are of the seller's family or some random family's photo, lol. I wish the post office would bring this back. I'd make so many stamps featuring my dog!

glad I still had some of my aircraft 35c stamps for this person who is an aircraft enthusiast (postcrossing card)

not the cleanest application but I like the variety.

I hope who I'm mailing this to has a short address.

The middle incoming card I think the other €0.70 stamp fell off at some point.

I'm a baby to stamp math but I have a 2.5 Oz envelope and I finally got to use my $1 stamp!! Yipppee!!

I am in the US and would like to purchase a sheet of Royal Mail Winnie the Pooh stamps. Can you tell me if there would be a US Customs charge for this purchase? I have bought a number of gifts from the UK through Etsy over the years, and there has never been a Customs issue. I'm just wondering if you could provide any current advice about this from the UK side. Thanks in advance.😊

Rare Halloween release from Canada, showing off 3 different Jack-o-Lanterns. Great carvings and photography. Definitely picking up a book especially since it’s only a pack of 6 making it very affordable

Haven't done any outgoing for a few days as been busy! Caught up tonight with a few 💌

Plus an amazing gift from u/pupslace! Thank you!! I will struggle to use these. Hahah! 💌

Hi, I just found this community and thought I'd show the stamps I had used for WPD as I was quite happy with those!

I bought peacock and peacock hand fan stamps to go with the theme of the Paper Bridges card for India designed by Christina and Eng! And vintage commemorative stamps released on the centenary of the postcard in India in 1979 that I stuck along with other stamps to make up the postage value needed!

Most of these were quite expensive, way above the denomination value and probably only bought by philatelists/collectors, but I really wanted to get some on theme and use them! (Some philatelist reading this might be dying at the thought of me absolutely tanking the value of these old MNH stamps by using them but oh well!)

(Take two, forgot to censor my own info...)

I also used a pre-euro stamp, this one is worth 800 Italian lira, which corresponds to 0,41€

Sent these off into the world today, well actually just to places in the USA. I thought the Sunflowers stamp looked pretty on the green envelope. Thanks for stopping by! 📬🍁📬

Three permanent stamps = one $3.65

Both contain seeds - one envelope for a swap with somebody who lives in one of the Nordic countries. The other envelope is going to a place where it’s either Hot or Hotter throughout the year with periods of flooding in between 🫠

Sent a letter to America a couple days ago, thought they were just gonna print a label to supplement, but this post office still had low value stamps (canada post discontinued them). asked them to hand cancel as well

I purchased these recently for my Halloween stamp math (will share soon) and thought that these features were interesting and something I hadn’t seen before.

First are the stars in the corners of the perforations, featured on all of the Legends of Hollywood series. Really neat to see in the perforation. Additionally, I looked it up, the image in the top left of each stamp is the profile caricature of Hitchcock and it was the first time an image was cut out of a stamp.  Four thin strips of paper were removed to create the image.

The Alfred Hitchcock stamp is the fourth stamp in the Legends of Hollywood series, issued in August 1998.

My first time using a stamp from this set: Astronauts with Irish Ancestry! I love the colours on it but might be a bit hard to see.

Halloween and other outgoings. Remembered to take pic before addresses

This post office (second picture/slide) is in a small town across the lake (no bridge) from the smaller town that I grew up in. I requested the hand cancelation as I am hoping the recipient will find it extra special. Thanks for stopping by to look! 📬🌞📬
