Discussion How to fix it?
A question to the owners of this figure. Did you manage to make the cape lie flat? If yes, share how. I've tried most common ways like heating and cooling it to reshape or left it under heavy weight for weeks, but it didn't help that much.

That's exactly how mine looks. The material they used to mold it, slightly warps inside the packaged and overtime, permanently remains that way as the molecular structure settles right out of the factory.
If you already tried dipping it in a large Pyrex bowl of boiling hot water (microwave heated for best results) and tossed it in an ice bath right after and it still doesn't flatten, then the rubber is permanently shaped that way.
To be perfectly honest, it actually looks better that way. Almost like the cape is trying to move up from under Spawn, rather than being completely lifeless and flat. Make peace with it if you can.

That’s normal, my friend. Everyone who owns this figure has one that looks exactly like that. But if it really bothers you, you can use a hair dryer to heat up that area, hold it in the position you want, and then dip the figure into a bowl of cold water. It’s a way to try and reshape it a bit, but I wouldn't worry about it. It’s not actually a defect.

I don’t think it really lays very flat. Honestly yours is pretty flat. The edges are raised and I think it’s part of how the figure was made.
