Hi everyone! I'm an international student who graduated from high school three years ago, and I'm hoping to apply for a bachelor's degree at Sorbonne University.

Unfortunately, my high school no longer has records of my grades from throughout those years, so I'm unable to obtain an official transcript.

I've come across a few posts on other platforms from students who were admitted without submitting their high school transcripts, and I'm wondering how common this actually is.

Has anyone here been in a similar situation? If so, I'd really appreciate hearing about your experience and academic background. I'm especially curious about how competitive your application was and what qualifications might have helped you get accepted.

Thanks in advance for any insights!

Hi everyone,

It's been weeks now that I'm trying to make some sense out of this mess. The scolarite telling me to talk with crous and then crous telling me to talk with scolarite.

I've used the crous platform to send them a message but no answer.

For some context: i was an erasmus student in the same uni some years ago and now I got accepted to their Master's program. I guess my izly account must have been deleted or blocked? Like what is going on? 🥲

Does anyone have any advice or been through something similar?

Thank you

How is your schedule? Is it hard? Could I double major with something like philosophy? How is your relationship with lecturers/professors? How exactly do the different licenses work?

Would be extremely grateful if someone could reply…

Hi, I am an African student, and I'd really like to apply to Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi for the Physics major plus a specialization. I've read some information about the university, and it seems they offer fully funded scholarships for the best students from Francophone Africa.

If anyone here has benefited from this scholarship, where you know people who have benefited from it, or even if you are a student at Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi and can find out more for me, could they please provide more information?

-What are the selection criteria?

-How do I apply for the scholarship, etc...?

I would also like to point out that I am a fairly bright student and that I am preparing for the artificial intelligence olympiad this year, to represent my country. Winning a medal, however small, could help me maximize my chances of joining Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi ?

PS: I contacted the university in question, but unfortunately I haven't received a response yet.

Hi,
I'm an Italian student currently studying in France and I am looking for penpals.
I wish to find people with whom I can practice different languages such as English,Spanish and especially French.
I'm keen on finding out about new cultures and I am also interested in tandems, in the mentioned languages, or Chinese, Japanese or Portuguese.
Fields of interest: LEA, different cultures and languages, movies (such as Barbie or the Perks of being a wallflower), tv series (such as the Handmaid's talle or Adults), European literature, music, art, political and social causes, ect.
I’ve always dreamed of having a penpal and now more than ever, being that I’ve wanted to write and ship letters like a yearning husband at war. Both digitally and non.
I’m interested in Spanish, English and especially French speakers.

If this thing doesn’t flop, please state your: name, languages you speak, things you enjoy, places you’d like to visit in Ile de France.

hit me up on IG at @idillio.vaticano with your major and interests.

Hello everyone, I am a freshman student is an AI school, I relly want to pursue my studies in France by securing France Excellence Eiffel scolarship. So I want to ask about how hard is it to get this scolarship ? Do we take into account other aspects such as leadership, or are the grades you have the only thing that determines whether you get it or not ?

If I am pursuing an undergraduate STEM degree i.e. life sciences in French unis.

What is the experience?

What is the academic rigor?

How much does it cost approximately if I'm not living in Paris?

How hard is it to get into a French University as an Indian student?

How should I write my sop? (Any tips?)

I asked chat GPT about this and it said that my SOP should not be ivy League level type shi SOP but it should rather be simple. I asked the same question to a international student who is a content creator and she told me that you should write your SOP as if your selling yourself to the university, market yourself basically.

I was wondering if someone who is already a student of French University or has graduated from a French University can tell me how my opening line of my sop is.

Corps de texte (facultatif)

Bonjour,

Merci !

Hello i am an international student,

I already hold a bachelors degree in social sciences but I have been working as a frontend dev for years now.

I decided I want to get formal education in CS and i really liked the program of sorbonne university.

Now here is the issue - I never liked the major that i previously picked and i didnt put effort into it so my GPA is low (2.5/4.0). But as I mentioned I have years of experience and very satisifed employers that would write recommendation letters for me (at least 4).

Is there a chance for me to get into this program or would my low GPA automatically makes this impossible?

Do they value the motivational letters because I really am motivated and willing to redo bachelors again.

Also I have C1 certificate in french.

Thank you, I really hope to hear some thoughts on this

Helooo, i'm not a Sorbonne student, i'm not even from france, but, i started learning french in the last year and got a trip on Paris, so of course i made a visit to Sorbonne, then i liked very much.

Nowadays, i'm a chemistry undergraduate student, in my country the course duration is 4 years, well the big problem here is, the lessons starts at february then we have a 2 weeks break at july and another 1 month & 2 weeks break at dezember, some days before christmas.

I'm gonna get my diploma in 12/2027, but i wanna enter in chemistry master in 2028, so this question can be a bit dumby, i already made a search on the oficial Sorbonne site, but idk if i toke it right. If i want to study in 2028 i have to apply to the enrollment in the same year? (2028).

And other question, for u all Sorbonne students, what do u think that is the most dificulty part to get accepted.

P.S: sorry for my english, it's also not too good.

Salut! Tout est dans le titre
Merci d'avance pour vos réponses :))
